If God willing, i'll soon have an entry level bluray player.

I'll be getting it from a super solid reputable seller here in PinoyDVD. Anyway, i just have to ask kasi yung player is 110 volts pwede na po ba yung 110outlet sa AVR ko po? My AVR is Maldol SVC 500. Currently, yung nakasaksak lang doon is yung TV. Would this suffice?

Curiosity lang pow : wala naman po bang problem kung yung bluray (110 volts) ay nakakabit sa mga electronics that are running on 220 volts like yung TV and HTIB?

Nawa'y po may sumagot ng bago kong challenge sa aking addition sa system :

I connected my smart broadband S480 ko po and tried updating the player pero laging lumalabas ay problems with network connectivity. I checked everything that needs to be checked, read again the manual, followed the instructions but still the same old answer. The player comes from the another country. What could be the problem?

In my experience, nakasaksak currently sa maldol svc 500 ko ay pana plasma tv (220v), denon av rcvr at toshiba blu-ray player (both 110v) at kayang kaya...

I live in Bacoor, Cavite.....unfortunately this BP of mine conked out on me a few weeks back. Anyway, its 110volts then yung AVR na gamit mo ay may 110volts (maldol). Anyway, yung sinaksak ko na sya ulit sa 110volts dina po sya nago-on. Di ko alam kung may nakasaksak sa 220v....i really don't know. anyway, meron ba kayong ma-recommend na gumagawa nito na around bacoor cavite? and may nagsabi sa akin na baka fuse ang problem. How much would it cost kaya?

I am so happy that i was able to purchase a new TV for the family. The older TV is put at another strategic location of the house. Well, i felt like i needed to give myself an

incentive for me to work harder and for my family to enjoy movies.

this bluray after a good almost 2 years, i went to love electronics, they just removed a device shaped like a battery because it was busted and then after that, its working fine again.

Now, im looking for a good lightning arrestor.

Well, as i've said in my past posts in this forum that i am a plasma lover but......i experimented by buying a led TV called HISENSE. its a new brand below is the pic of the box :

i am still breaking in the tv set and for initials i am quite impressed with its performance. (keeping my fingers crossed) ; i am breaking it in with animated bluray movies like avatar, rio, HTTYD etc. The settings are set to low for the meantime.

I've got to admit that i'm still looking for the wow factor. Something that would almost make me say wow, that is so real.

To God be the glory always and forever. I am so happy that i was able to buy an entry level Yamaha receiver. I got it from Western Appliances at Festival Mall. I am so glad that i now have a receiver and at the same time confused and anxious as to how i can maximize the device. I was oriented by the salesperson about it but i am not a techy guy. Please find below pics of my new baby:

I will be pairing it with my hisense tv and my sony bluray player (which needs to be fixed). I would be more than glad if anyone could help me a little bit on how to make the sounds livelier and if there would be additional devices i need to make the sound pop.

Also, for those who have the same receiver may i know your "settings". For now, the speakers are set to small.

As of now, i am using it for radio and the sound is soft and quite soothing. Anyway, thank you so much. God bless you all

Try mo muna using the YPAO auto calibration ng Yamaha and see if magustuhan mo. Tama lang sa speakers mo ang setting na small.

I just got this bluray player at a really low price of (Php2990) at SM Bacoor; this is a display unit but it seems to be working well. I thank my sisters for giving me moolahs to replace my previous bluray player.

This is paired with my entry level yamaha receiver and my hisense fullHD 3d TV. So far i am loving the picture i am seeing. And i am trying to maximize the full potential of the sound of my yamaha receiver. And as advised i am using the YPAO.

I just have a few questions:
1) Is it safe to not remove the thin plastic that is covering the player ? (for dust protection)
2) at first the player was able to detect my wireless connection but when it updated its system it can no longer detect the wifi. But when wired to my modem it works. My TV, cellphones can detect the wifi connection. What could be the problem?

Any tips is welcome.
