Topic: Help please! on HDMI connection...

hi guys,

recently got a 50ft HDMI cable for my projector.  my connections:

a.  egreat 31b > 3ft hdmi > onkyo 805 avr
b.  toshiba xde500 dvp > 3ft hdmi > avr
c.  avr > 50ft hdmi > benq w500 projector

the amp to projector connection doesnt seem to work.  i tried to use the 50ft hdmi between the egreat to the avr and it worked.  so i tried putting it back between avr and projector, does not work again.

other things i tried:

1.  change settings of NMT to auto and 720p - this does not work (picture flickers)
2.  tried it in my HT setup upstairs - ps3 and philips 5986k dvp to samsung lcd tv - that worked (this means cable is good)

some points:

-  my avr does not have video settings
-  my projector upscales up to 1080p but does not have settings you can alter

anyways i reverted to my trusty 25ft cable... any help is highly appreciated.

i think its a compatibility problem between the cable and the pj, because connection with avr and egreat was good, and you also directly connected the pj to the egreat and it had problems. 1.3a or b ba yun specs ng hdmi sir jake?
