How many kgs does GSP have to gain in order to fight Silva?

How many kgs does Silva have to gain in order to fight the Shogun or even Lesnar?

Id like to see BJ Penn try again vs GSP.

GSP needs to gain at least 15 pounds to fight silva at middleweight.
silva aslo needs 15 lbs more to fight at LHW..at HW..he needs to be at least 235 lbs. i think.
silva already did fight at LHW (against griffin), mukhang walang problema sa kanya..di ko pa sya nakita at lower weight class..

BJ Penn was outclassed by GSP, Penn is at his best at lightweight..
pero alam ko naglaban na sila ni machida which is a natural LHW, don't know if it was a catchweight match, ..though he lost yata pero the guts of fighting much bigger opponent is unbelievable. and he lost via decision pa yata

Hindi pa nglalaban si machida at silva sa LH. nagdeclare si spider silva dati na hindi niya lalabanan si machida dahil magka-camp sila.. so malamang kung magLHW ulit siya, challenge niya si Shogun for the title. for his next match, either GSP or Shogun un opponent niya provided he can bring his A game this coming UFC 117 vs Sonnen.

ed soares' camp sucks lately.  noguiera is not the fighter he used to be.  machida lost his belt and spider silva is not the showman he used to be.  si junior dos santos lang mejo maganda pinapakita

yan ang maganda if nag move up na si spider at LHW..Spider vs. Shogun!

Is there a sked for Spider Silva vs Phenom Belfort?
This is the fight I'd really want to watch.

I was waiting for this one too. Thought it was a done deal after Belfort's triumphant return to the UFC fold (UFC 103) late last year. He knocked out Ace Franklin in Round 1.

this is what i heard too, ayaw nila mag laban ganda sana machida and silva but nabawasan excitement ko dito nung ginulpi ni shogun si machida eh. in any case, i would love to see either a shogun vs silva or gsp versus silva

yes sir antayin ko yan, to me gsp is the best na nakita ko sa UFC in all division, not sayinhg he will defeat lesnar but the best overall in a sense that he has great skills and discipline, very gentleman when he fights and very humble when he speaks, i admire him more on this aspects than his skills

this was Anderson Silva's last defeat many years ago... before he became MMA's pound-for-pound king. :D

A.Silva lost his first two mma fight.... and then naipanalo niya lahat nang mga sumunod na laban na.

hindi pa alam.. dapat Silva vs. GSP talaga un match pero dahil sa ginawa niya kay Maia pinalitan ng UFC un match. siguro kpag maganda laban ni silva-sonnen at manalo si GSP sa next match niya.. sila na un magtatapat next. siguro kung matutuloy un mga next year pa..  nasa ultimate fighter pa si GSP eh.. until end of year yta un eh..

if silva will only show something similar to what he did in his recent fights with his fight with sonnen, he does not deserve a fight with GSP.

to fight GSP, you need more than skills, you need to be aggresive, you need to be a gentleman

GSP is a tough act to follow, he has always been a gentleman in all his fights but has been very aggressive, giving it all he got.

Dana White may have a point, but he's got to produce fights/fighters that are interesting to watch.   All his PPVs combined do not match up to the level of interest that a great boxing match can elicit.

In spite of his, and the Fertitta brothers contributions to MMA as a recognized sport, Mr. White's still a douchebag...IMO  ;D

I think GSP is too small for Silva.  But assuming GSP bulks up and Silva sheds lbs to equalize, I guess the outcome will depend on GSP's ability to take down the slick and ultra quick Spider.  I think Silva will win.  I hate it when he gets cocky and starts mocking his opponents. I hate it when he waits and waits to counter and doesn't initiate.  But when he does strike, my jaws often drop at the brilliance of the moves. He can inflict serious pain with his explosiveness and it could be anything - an elbow, a knee, a kick, a punch.

Fights I'd like to see most are Emelianenko vs. Brock or Carwin, Silva vs. Rua or Machida.

this is my issue with silva actually, in his recent fights he has been that but i agree that he is potent indeed, specially if he is not clowning around :)
