si Machida na lang talaga ang fighter ko to defeat Bones in the UFC LHW division. If JJB beats LM I am convinced that Bones is unstoppable in LHW and will stay there for a very long time, well unless he moves to the Heavies division

but isnt it that machida has been beaten by Rua badly? used to admire Machida but it seems Jones is the real deal currently though im not going to be surprised if they get to meet and machida defeats jones after all his only defeat is with rua i think.

i pity crocop,

i havent had the chance to watch him in a winning fight, he was doing well until losing it again, most of his recent fitghs were like that

as for penn, maybe the long lay off became a disadvantage, he got a serious beating from diaz

^^ I disagree, hey I like Muñoz but he's still ain't there yet, he should fight 2 more middleweight elites (Belfort or the winner of Bisping/Miller) before fighting The Spider or Sonnen (depends who's the champ at that time)

Still, Awesome win by the Filipino Wrecking Machine! He made Leben quits and the Crippler is ain't no joke  :o

Wish ko lang matalo niya si Spider Man Silva in the future!

UFC galore every weekend. It's Cain vs JDS next weekend, then Shogun vs Hendo/Wanderlei vs Cung Le the next.

Hoping for a Wanderlei victory despite the brittle chin he has now.

I see your point, pero me kasabihang kanto nga na "tirahin mo na, at baka tirahin pa ng iba". Eh di back to zero sya?

Banned in almost all states in the US. Man, those were the days. Na-shock ako nung first time ko napanood yung mga UFC sa VHS nung high-school pa ako in the 90's.

Kick boxing vs. wrestling vs. boxing vs. bjj, vs. street fighting, karate, taekwondo, kung-fu, etc.

Sa Pride era ko nakita yung transition from NHB to MMA thru cross-training which eventually led to the Complete Mixed Martial Artists that we see today in the Zuffa Era of the UFC.

Exactly, Muñoz needs to prove more, kung hindi s'ya makakalusot sa mge elites e pano na kay Anderson Silva?
SPIDER is on a different level in my opinion... take note na pinaglaruan lang ni Anderson Silva si Okami pero si Muñoz hirap na hirap kay Okami  :P

I Cheer for Muñoz, humble and a great Striker/Wrestler and syempre kababayan yan e, but if you look closely in his fights ang dami pa n'yang kulang, daming openings, imagine a slugger like leben was able to take down Muñoz several times, konti pa sigurong improvements and he'll be the champ someday, hopefully..besides si Pacman din naman ang daming dinaanan na elites bago s'ya ma recognize na pound for pound champ, barrera2x Erik Morales3x Marquez2x & Oscar Dela Joya which in my opinion nag boom talaga ang career ni Pacman after he defeated ODJ ;)

in my understanding si Chael Sonnen talaga ang number 1 conterder for the Middleweight championship, next in the line is the winner of Bisping & Miller match or Mark Muñoz or pwede ring kalabanin ni Muñoz yung winner sa Bisping/Miller..

i was very happy with the win of mark but i must agree with the other's opinion,i think mark should take it slowly but surely., he has a huge ground and pound game but the guys he has beaten so far are not strong in ground and pund defense and mostly are strikers. leben is one of the most feared stroker but tough luck on him as he was not landing solidly, there were scary moments too for mark during the fight but i suspect leben's conditioning during the fight as he had mark on choke but couldnt consumate

not taking anything away from mark, silva is an elite fighter, sonnen has a far more superior ground game than mark yet he still succumed to silva, i guess beating bisping and sonnen( in case sonnen fights silva again and lose) should prime him very well for silva, at that point in time, silva hopefully is not peking anymore and mark on the top of his game.

Muñoz requested a title shot, so i guess he must be ready.

What better way to test himself, than to fight the best like Silva. Pag nanalo si Muñoz ke Silva he will gain recognition, pag natalo naman sya he will gain experience. Nothing to lose ika nga...And no shame in losing to Silva.

...Meanwhile, i watched the fight of Brandon Vera against Eliot Marshall sa prelims ng UFC 137. Vera was supposed to win impressively, pero muntik pa sya matalo. Everytime ata na lalaban sya eh nagkakaron sya ng injury from the fight, nabali un arm nya from an arm bar, buti na lang 'di sya nag tap at wala ng oras. He has to improve or just leave the UFC.  :-[

^^ well, the fans gets what they want  ;D

Anderson Silva Will Face Chael Sonnen Next
Posted on November 9, 2011 by Damon Martin

Anderson Silva has his next opponent.

On Wednesday, UFC President Dana White confirmed that the UFC’s reigning middleweight champion will indeed face heated rival Chael Sonnen in a rematch of their 2010 fight at UFC 117.

During an appearance on Jim Rome’s nationally syndicated radio show, White was asked point blank if Sonnen would indeed get the rematch he’s been seeking for months.

“It’s the fight that everybody wants to see, people want to see Chael vs. Anderson. Anderson is in this position where he feels like this guy is so disrespectful he doesn’t want to give him a shot, but Anderson will end up fighting Chael Sonnen,” White confirmed.

“The answer is yes.”

That puts any debate to rest about who will get the next crack at Anderson Silva, once he’s healthy enough to return to action.

Silva’s former training partner Mark Munoz was also calling for a shot at the champion after his win in the main event of UFC 138 against Chris Leben, but it appears he’ll have to wait a little bit longer if he’s going to get a crack at the title.

Silva and Sonnen has to be one of the most heated rivalries in UFC history at this point, with the challenger continuously calling out the champion every chance he gets.

Sonnen was soundly beating Silva through four rounds in their title fight last August, but a mental lapse and bad positioning found the Oregon native stuck in a triangle choke late in the final round that ended the fight.

Silva locked up the submission and Sonnen tapped, ending his dream of becoming the UFC middleweight champion. Finally returning at UFC 136 last month, Sonnen finished Brian Stann with an arm triangle choke in the second round to reestablish himself atop the contender’s list at 185lbs.

While no date has been set for the rematch, sources have indicated to MMAWeekly.com that Silva vs. Sonnen 2 will not take place on the Super Bowl 2012 card tentatively titled UFC 143. When the fight is finally scheduled, it will be in 2012, but not in the early part of February.

Silva has been recovering from a shoulder injury suffered in his last fight against Yushin Okami, and is still not ready to return to action.
