That's what Conor will do, insult you until mapikon ka. pero in his previous fights naman after the bout whether win or lose, he will shake the hands of his opponent and talk to him. yung lang this time he did crossed the line, I'm not sure why UFC did not reprimand him or at least remind him not to say those insulting words esp if it's about family & religion. yun lang action speaks louder than words, Khabib initiated the melee and the end doesn't justify the means.

At the end of the day. Its entertainment. We all got entertained. Hehe

The Ferguson x Pettis fight was fun as well. Sayang na-injure si Pettis

McGregor is just playing the "heel" and it's all for entertainment and to maintain relevancy. This is borrowed from the wrestling playbooks to generate hype and interest. UFC will not mind this move because at the end of the day they need to make higher ratings and money given that they have plenty of competitors already.

Lahat ng kalokohan ni McGregor is done outside the sanctioned fight which is why the UFC organization won't probably care as it becomes a personal liability already.

i'm not saying any of this is right. what i'm saying is lumang style na yan

I wanted to watch the fight live sa tv, kaso nagyaya 'yung defending champion kong wife na umalis kaya 'yung replay na lang kagabi napanood ko.  :D

Not to take anything away from Khabib, magaling talaga sya.

"As it stands, McGregor’s loss is of little significance in the grand scheme of things. To many watching, he will be seen as a sympathetic character despite fuelling the tension in the build-up to the fight. He appeared subdued after the brawl and arguably managed to make himself emerge looking like the more level-headed fighter of the two men. The beating he suffered at the hands of Nurmagomedov now seems like an afterthought."

"Following the melee that ensued after Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor at UFC 229 on Saturday night in Las Vegas, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has already taken preliminary action. The commission is withholding Nurmagomedov's $2 million fight purse.

The commission initially was going to withhold McGregor's $3 million fight purse, as well. UFC president Dana White said that after the commission reviewed footage of the incident, executive director Bob Bennett released McGregor's money.

"The Nevada State Athletic Commission pulled footage from us. There's an ongoing investigation," White said at the UFC 229 Post-Fight Press Conference. "They're withholding Khabib's purse. They did not hold Conor's purse, but they're holding Khabib's."

That the commission decided to withhold Nurmagomedov's fight purse and not McGregor's, would indicate that the commission believes there might eventually be sanctions against Nurmagomedov that could potentially include a fine.

The reason the commission would withhold the purse is to ensure payment of a fine, so Nurmagomedov likely won't be paid his purse until the commission determines whether or not to level charges against him.

Three individuals believed to be a part of Nurmagomedov's team were initially arrested for their part in the attack on McGregor, who was sucker punched by a man who jumped into the Octagon and attacked him from behind.

At the press conference, White indicated that McGregor refused to press charges, so the individuals were released.

It's still not clear, however, what ramifications Nurmagomedov will face. Despite being under the scrutiny of the athletic commission, there was no word yet if Nurmagomedov might face legal charges for going outside of the Octagon and attacking McGregor teammate Dillon Danis."

Not sure Khabib agrees to a rematch in the near future though, tbh. I don't think he cares that much about being filthy rich as some people might like to think. I'm sure he cares to a certain extent, but I don't think money is that big a selling point for him at this point in his career.

He was out to prove a point and he did it in very convincing fashion, so unless the UFC and/or the people around him are able to spin this as sort of something more about honor, respect, unfinished business, or correcting the mistake he did after the fight, I would think he would prefer fighting Tony right now on top of anything else.

Tony khabib will be awesome. Yun ang talagang championship fight. Both have an 11 fight win streak. And remember tony was the interim champ before he was stripped. Then khabib had to face 11 ranked (yata) Iaquinta for the championship. Hardly a match for khabib skill wise. Yun lang the fight is cursed. 4 times booked already, palagi di matuloy. Maybe 5th time theyll get lucky at walang ma injure

agree, 'wag na muna rematch with Conor. Tony - Khabib will be equally entertaining less the drama. Let Conor earn his spot at the championship.

100% agree with this.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/columnist/martin-rogers/2018/10/07/ufc-229-dana-white-got-what-he-deserves-khabib-vs-conor-brawl/1558132002/

Same... he can't wash his hands of any responsibility... he used the bus attack footage as promotion material and he tolerated (probably encouraged) Conor's trash talking which included very personal attacks already on Khabib. To relate, imagine if Mayweather trash talked Manny and included the Philippines and us the people, Manny's parents, and Manny's religion in the trash talking. I bet all Filipinos will be out for blood. And Conor did that against Dagestan which has a totally different culture and which has required its people to be "warriors."

Dana and Conor pushed it too far this time. In any other sport, Conor would already be fined and/or suspended.

DC successfully defended his HW title against Lewis. He played it smart using his excellent wrestling skill that lead to the submission.

What a KO by Souza, I believe Weidman is ahead on points before that one punch KO. Dapat tinigil na agad ng ref, obvious naman na tirik na mata ni Weidman and can't defend himself.

Too easy for DC

Ganda nung laban ni Jacare at Weidmann. Proves Weidmann is just a fluke.

Adesanya is a force! Reminiscent of Jon Jones. Hanep ang skills!

Ganda ng laban Jacare vs Weidmann, basagan ng mukha. It was a close fight, it could have gone the other way, bugbog na rin si Jacare, hilo na rin but he was the one able to connect the deciding KO punch.

I think slightly ahead si Korean Zombie on points, last seconds na lang eh hindi pa nya nahintay hehe. that was one sick, perfectly timed elbow by Yair, I've never seen anything like that before hehe.

^yeah, zombie was ahead on points - mas mataas strikes attempted, mas mataas % landed, and he was the one on constant attack.

Looking at the replay, parang tsamba ung elbow ni Yair, si zombie ung sumugod na out of balance sa siko ni Yair. They're both on awkward positions.

^ung kay Pacman, tinamaan talaga sya nun nung sumugod. Marquez has been well known for his counter punches.

Ung kay Yair, parang ayaw na nga nya lumaban sa huling minuto at gusto magyakapan nalang, it was the ref who motioned to them to continue fighting. Anyway para sakin lang naman un na parang tsamba since si zombie was out balanced and yair was in awkward position.

I think it was zombie's forward motion plus his full weight falling into Yair's elbow that KO'ed zombie. Yair wasn't even looking at zombie and he could have not known where was zombie's head falling into..

^na-injure na yung foot or leg ni Yair during the fight thats why hindi na siya maka laban ng husto

Quote
Rodriguez was did his postfight interview being held up by two of his cornerman, as the effects of a leg injury suffered early in the bout set in. But that didn’t stop Rodriguez from throwing his wide variety of effective and at time flashy kicks during the bout.

he can barely stand after the fight

Its not between UFC and Hyper. Nag switch na sa ESPN si UFC at hindi siguro kaya ni Hyper ang cost with ESPN? Or because walang ESPN si Cignal.
