Natawa naman ako. From "group buy" to "group repair" :D ;D

Thanks God my HD PRo is still doing ok.

The violet LED (combination of blue and red led light) signifies a power supply problem. If most of you have this problem then it would be cheaper to just have the power supply boards shipped here. Then have a local technician change it.
84" 100" 120" 150" Motorized or Manual Projector Screens still available. Just pm.

i was one of the first batch who bought hd pro(with the remote in chinese character) from spike, at until now e gumagana pa... ive been using it everyday eversince(usually 2 movies every night). I have been using it with the hacked mede8er version at flawless ang playback ng lahat ng movie collection ko...hehehe. Mas stable pa sia kaysa sa xtreamer v1 na binili ko.

Swertehan lang din talaga sa pagbili :D

Yun lang sir, may pagbabago sa remote. What i did is to have some sort of trial and error using all keys(plus the chinese character of the remote made it even harder) but once you get around the changes, perfect working condition na. What i also did is print a copy of the remote manual from mede8er website at dun ko na lang ibinase yung pagbabago. HD Pro hardware + Mede8er firmware = MedePro :D

not yet i'm still waiting for Mitek hacked version.
Medyo complicated itong version 4 you have to change the bootloader.
pag nakamali baka hindi ko ma return sa original firmware or worst ma brick.

May I ask who among you already tried to use a wireless dongle on HDpro/HDpro-s? What brand of wi-fi dongle did you use? Can you recommend one. I will be using it mostly for file transfer.

Thanks.

Not recommended, unless you know how to revert to official firmware when something go wrong!

No problem viewing "The American" 1080p. It's been more than a year since I bought my HDPro from Spike and have not encountered any major problem.

yah bro, one encode of inception 720p has header compression, which hd-pro wont be able to decode, i also encountered these mkv's.

what im doing is remux the mkv with that header compression using mkvtoolnix, set compression to NONE, thatll solve the issue.

a 4gb file would take about 7-8 minutes process.

I'm having a hard time setting up the FTP feature of HDpro-s...I successfully installed the FTP but I havent found any settings which you can put a username and password...I tried connecting using PC to Media Tank and the ping was successfull, tried to login as anonymous but it kept asking a username and password  :(
