Thanks for your insight well im not sure if i really need the pip because my tv is beside my pc, but i was thinking that a pip would be nice to use if im waiting for a TV show coz it will consume less electricity than both tv and pc turned on.
Ok that makes sense. But I'm positive PIP is a feature that would not really be a big deal as you get used to your HDTV.
For one thing, the biggest screen size you can get through PIP (when you even out the size of the 2 simultaneous screens) is still less than half the original screen - because the TV has to maintain the aspect ratio of the image. If you want to maximize one side, then the other would be Ipod screen small.
wont the 120hz and 2ms response time of the LH70 resolve the problem of motion blurring? or the 60hz of the sumsung be enough?
I dont know what number would be high enough for LCD HDTV. It should be reasonable to assume that the faster the frequency and response time are, the lesser the motion blurring would be. On the other hand, Ive seen 240Hz models in action and they definitely produce distinctive looking images that a viewer might either hate or love. Anyhow, focus on what you actually see on the screen rather than the numbers posted by the makers.
Yes im planning to use the 32" as a primary monitor. I read somewhere that at 2.5 to 4 ft distance the 1365x768 would show its pixel, thats why im leaning towards full hd.
Always maintain the minimum recommended viewing distance of the LCD HDTV maker. For full HD 32V, you can sit as near a 1.1 meters but for 1MP panel, you obviously have to sit a little farther for optimum image quality - I think it's about 1.5 to 1.6 meters (or at least 5 ft). Any distance shorter than that, you would see many unpleasant things on the screen.
Ive already posted about the text quality issue of my full HD LG when connected via HDMI but reviews and feedbacks about newer models seem to be better on this specific aspect. Just for your info, Samsungs have allegedly better implementation of the so called 1:1 pixel mapping via HDMI.
