i check out the price of component video cable sa abenson nalula ako nasa 3k+ ang price but the salesman
claims that it is expensive because of its high quality(original).i start to think if this is a practical choice or,
does a good quality RCA cable can compensate for component video cable?

Don't buy those overpriced component cables from Abenson or Western. Go for the "AudioPro" brand from Ace Hardware or Handyman.  :)

Really should be better ;D

Composite>S Video>Component> HDMI ;D

Actually, its the other way around.

HDMI>Component>S Video>Composite.

You used kasi the ">" (greater than symbol).

Hehe.  Wala lang.

noob and OT question lang at parating pa lang ang HDTV ko this November...

Ang alam ko lang talaga kasi is yung RCA Jacks (R,Y,W) connection, I have seen yung YPbPr and S-Video but I never bothered to try them out, now since HDTV na HDMI na.

Question is, yung sa RCA Kasi hiwalay ang Video and Audio diba, so kahit hindi nakasaksak yung Yellow (Video) may sounds pa din, or kahit di nakasaksak yung Red and White (Right & Left) basta nakasaksak yung Yellow may video wala lang sounds.

In HDMI naman alam ko mainly for video kelangan yun, but what about the Audio, kasama na din ba dun sa port na yun? so that means the HDMI Port has the Audio and Video in one na?

Hehe, hindi ko pa kasi alam ang HDMI eh, I have seen the connectors and the port pero napapaisip ako kung video lang siya or audio/video in one na sya.

Salamat!

Yes, the HDMI cable carries both video and audio.
