once we reach 30 units, we will be required to make a non-refundable deposit of 3,000 pesos. sir eric orders the stocks. stocks will be here from 7-14 days. we can pick it up at their office in araneta or greenhills. or you could also have it delivered.

Des anyone know if one attaches an external drive thru the usb, will this NAS recognize the whole thing, including the internal drive as one huge drive?

ideally yes as another drive, if you will share the attached external drive in the USB

Info tidbit:

An Xtreamer will automatically mount an eTRAYz. Accessing media
content on your NAS is easy as pie!

Currently, the Xtreamer firmware only supports the auto-mount of
one eTRAYz.

Just curious if streaming 1080p videos through wifi from the etrayz to the xtreamer would be smooth without buffering. I have a Synology server and streaming 1080p videos to my HTPC does a lot of buffering during playback. 720p files only have the initial buffering then it plays smoothly afterwards.

Been asking about this matter. We have a very similar Buffalo N broadband router and when I tried streaming 1080p wirelessly from my Buffalo NAS to the PC, uutal utal utal utal utal every now and then. To think my backbone infrastructure is 100Mbps fiber optic...thus, I switched back to LAN cable. My wired home network is not even Gigabit but problem solved.

No manufacturer has been able to successfully stream 1080p content over wi-fi. 720p can be streamed properly, provided your wi-fi signal strength is strong.

The specs http://shop.xtreamer.net/products/Xtreamer-with-Free-Antenna.html on the Xtreamer site states that Wifi-streaming is limited to a maximum of 10Mbps:

Tried playing the same 1080p files in my PC with a wired connection and yes it plays better than wifi. Sad to say that my HTPC is too far from the router for a wired connection. $:-\$
