donnamay, boddah posted his recommended picture setting on page16.

@natzi, after a week wala naman akong nakitang major problem sa unit ko. Minor issue lang regarding sa "no signal on HDMI connection". Good thing I found the post of tutunx on page15 and read the messages of the other fan boys , turn-off lang pala ang SIMPLINK function. We are using the LCD 5-8hrs a day watching tv, playing Wii and viewing movies on WDTV Live. My initial connection is via composite lang pero labas na kaagad ang ganda ng colors ng lcd (comparered sa crt tv...hehehe). Then I connected my WDTV Live via HDMI, napa-WOW talaga ako sa ganda ng picture and colors! Next namin pinanood yung Avatar (720P, 8GB mkv version), again same WOW effect the whole time watching the movie. According to wifey, the best daw ang purchase namin and all worth it  ;D ;D ;D

May additional Philips clock radio freebie (worth P700) nga pala na binigay sa akin when I got the unit last Sunday  :D

heard na pa-phase-out na 'to.  Sayang, walang budget talaga ngayon so di ako makakabili.  Baka lang, may maabutan pa akong unit in 3 months time! :)

can i join the club? I was scouting for a sub 20k 32incher LCD (lg ld310 or pany c10), went to Robinson Otis, lo and behold saw the elusive(?) LG 32LH70YR on display. I asked the sales guy if they still have a bnew stock, meron pa raw 2, so I checked the unit. So I decided to get the unit kahit way over my budget hehehe. got it for 27900.

My wife got me an LH70YR from SM appliance sa north edsa main. Php29,990 straight charge.

Tested it with a few SD sources... panalo.

I know what I need though...and of course, I know what I'm missing pag di ko to nakitang mag render ng 1080p.

Guys pasali dito, I have bought the same unit (LG 32LH70YR) with hometheater system (HT805PM) here in Bacolod priced P38,890. So far satified ako sa performance but one thing, meron akong tanong tungkol sa USB mode nya.

I have some movie files that has black bars top/bottom of the video. I know merong option regarding aspect ratio sa control menu natin. (16:9, zoom, cinema mode, etc.) but noticed that I cannot access the "q. menu" on the remote control if I play files thru USB.

I can only access the "q. menu" or the "picture menu" kung nasa TV mode ako or if naka connect ako sa HDMI papuntang dvd player. So ang tanong, is there a way I can access the "q. menu" or the "picture menu" if I playing movies thru its built-in USB? I tried setting it by default (lets say cinema zoom1) but whenever I play files na sa USB, it changes back to its original aspect ratio of the file.  Nakaka-inis kasi that I cannot zoom-in or change aspect ratio while using its USB.

I do have the home theater system which includes the dvd player but the thing is yung usb port sa dvd player nya makaka basa lang ng fat32 system, so walang silbi yung usb port nya kasi all my movies are in a 320gb harddisk, so yung magandang option ko lang talaga is to use the built-in USB port of the HDTV.

Anybody experienced the same situation?

Sayang naman that I have to use my 16gb flash disk (fat32), use the usb port of the dvd player and set  picture to zoom, just to satify the movie that has black bars on top/bottom. Hassle talaga pag ganito yung situation.

re: accessing q menu on USB, same situation w/ me on my 42lh70.

Re:  fat32 HDD.  Is the size limit for fat32 holding you back? You can use swissknife to format large drives to fat32.

re: black bars. Some films are just made larger than 16x9, so that's why we see black bars and its perfectly normal.

You might want to change where your speakers are positioned. Home theater speakers are actually not meant to be all lined up in front on a desk.

Actually we have plans of putting it at the back of our sala set para surround pero baka sa susunod nalang. Excited na kasi eh.

Why don't you just buy a WDTV player or Xtreamer rather than use that usb direct on the TV. Remember, it is after all a tv rtaher than a media player.

Yes, planning to do so. I've been back reading post here and in tpc about NMT and WDTV, problem is that I'm here in Bacolod. Too few options unless I buy online which I'm not comfortable with.

i went to rob metro east, 29,999 ang last price na binibigay nila sakin. they were also hard-selling the 32LD330 for 27k. although nice naman yung salesman dun di katulad sa mga abenson or western.

to bad maybe its a weekend discount they gave. they cut of 12k from the original price of 39,999.00 indicated on the price tag. but lh70's were not included package promo being bundled with an HT at a 9k from orig price of 14k. didn't bother to as ask about the model of the HT unit since i was only interested with scarlet.  :o

Help, anybody experienced this on their LH70s, garbled colors, vertical line on the middle of the screen.

http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/2897/07032010238.jpg

Already called LG CS, resetting didnt solve it, unit will be serviced by their tech next week. Anybody have an idea what caused this? I just turned off the TV, was working fine, once I turned it on after a few minutes ito na yung result.
