@ Conan Thanks ;)

@ whirpool ; CD Ono Lisa Best 2002-2006. Sa US nabili ng kuya ko 2 years ago. I think sa amazon.com.  I'm  using the Klipsch KSB 3.1 . We compare it my brothers newer RB 81. The RB 81 has lots of  power, maybe due to the newer materials being used by the manufacturer.in terms of musical clarity konting konti lang ang kaibahan. The klipsch horn tweeters has a distinct sound you can hear clearly the magic sound of cymbals and percussions when playing jazz music.
Ito yung very interesting na part. I have a friend who owns a boston acoustics tweeters. tinangal niya yung tweeters sa kotse niya at yung klipsch horn tweeters ko tinanggal ko din. They have the same impedance, 4 ohms. We try to compare who's tweeter  is more  superior when it comes to a clear, very fine and detailed musical clarity. Testing amp:  my Technics old but reliable AVR SA GX-650 new classA.cd player sony . music cd Antonio Carlos Jobim Girl from Ipanema . Judges: mga engineers na barkada ng tito at kapitbahay namin dito sa village. There are 4 of them in their 30's all of them electronics engineers. Results My  klipsch horn tweeters panalo. basing on musical details. mas fine at mas bright. MgA engineers na ang nag judge... hehehe!  Sabi ko sa friend ko ngayon naniniwala ka na sa akin na tatalunin boston acoustics mo sa klipsch ko sabi mo kasi simpleng tweeter lang yang klipsch...good day to all! ;) :) :D

Actually, an open area is the best ideal listening environment provided na walang ingay. Walang reflections or room boundaries.

@ Conan Thanks ;)

Hehehe! naniniwala talaga ako na personal choice yan at subjective pagdating sa amps at speakers pati na rin  type sa music. yung iba kasi gusto malakas treble malakas bass at me gusto din vocals na litaw na litaw.  depende talaga sa tao. iba iba ang choice nila. me gusto sa bose like my other brod. yung isang brod ko JBL naman. ako klipsch at isang pang  brod ko RB 81. tatay  ko gusto niya pioneer speaker at vintage amplifier na akai at mga old lps like nat king cole. ayaw niya palitan kasi vintage daw ang dating. sa neighbors  naman me marantz me mordaunt short .me bw me wharfdale. sa amps me yamaha me onkyo me pioneer me hk dami choice talaga. yung iba naman gusto walang bass at treble na amps volume lang . it depends on personal choice.  ;) :) :D

Yup it's for a pair. You should visit Spectra first though, as the distributor of Klipsch changed so I'm not sure of the current availability.

Same question here, i tried back reading to no avail, as much as i would like to call each shop on the PDVD directory, i believe it will be easier if someone could just chime in :)

I know the hunt is something worthwhile to do but that is one luxury i dont have at the moment.

Tried the FS section but i cant find the speakers i am looking for.

This is what i am looking for:

http://www.klipsch.com/promedia-2-1-computer-speakers

I also need feedback regarding their wireless counterpart. Im not an audiophile but i want crisp sound and deep base something that the causal 2.1 cannot provide., the only thing i dont like with wireless speakers is the noise when no music is playing (Experienced this on a headset)

http://www.klipsch.com/promedia-2-1-wireless-computer-speakers

Thanks in advance

The last time I saw klipsch pc speakers that where on sale was in a mac store. The one in vmall, greenhills just next to the 3rd floor foodcourt area. Not sure if its the promedia model though. They also have harman kardon 2.1 speakers there. But if you are gonna ask me, for those prices, I'd prefer to go separates-- getting an integrated amp, speaker and external dac. There's a lot of good deals in our market place thread.

Me dealer pa ba ng klipsch here sa pinas?

Im thinking of getting another sw450 kasi.

If I cant get one na good price, I'll sell mine and probably get a bigger sub.

The 3 lettered sub comes to mind...  ::)

Try asking dealers. Baka alam nila.

Update on my RB-81. Suprisingly, ang laki ng pinagbago sa depth and extension ng lows when i changed to a more powerful amp.

Yes. I use to drive it with my 2A3 SET tube amp. Very malambing siya. Then, kinda tumaas ang listening levels ko so may clipping na ang woofers. I bi-amped it with a vintage Onkyo 50w. May slight clipping pa din ang amp sa transients ng lows. Just recently, i acquired a class D amp (125ASX2) rated at 65w. Very powerful amp for it's size. Transients were handled properly and i even had to recalibrate the sub integration because the lows performed flawlessly. I never thought malaki pa ang improvement sa RB-81 despite owning it for more than 2 years.

My Tweak on my RB3: Put foam (like egg tray) to all internal walls and makes the lows more accurate.

Meron nang eggtray foam yun akin when i bought it.

My future upgrade for RB-81: mass loading the enclosure and plastic face plate.  :D

Feel free to audition my system.

The best thing for this RB 81 is that port located on the front make it easier placement especially back wall distance. is that an 8" midwoofer? :o

Yes. 8". Though i would agree with you on ease of positioning, iba pa din yun malayo sa backwall (for depth of image) maski front ported siya.

usually I'd recommend FS for music becuse of the extra woofer, bt the RB 61 is a big enough BS that should be able to handle music, just add a sub if you find the lows lacking.  I'd suggest the RB 81 though, just ask Nelson de Leon, he owns a pair of the 81's and is very satisfied with it.
