Try mo sa Spectra at Park Square I Makati.

Harman Kardon.

Hindi ko pa narinig ang Klipsch RF-25, pero bilib ako sa porma nito.  Impressive talaga ang dating.  Yung mukhang high end equipment ang porma.  ;)

Hello,

I auditioned almost all the Klipsh speakers RF models here in the US just recently.  It is very common at Best Buy.

What is great is the high sensitivity, sounds impressive on the showroom but can be quite loud and bright for a HT setup.  It is tiring to listen too.

Kliipsch is not really what it is.  It is just like a mainstream brand like JBL, POLK, SONY.   It is not a glamorous brand anymore unless you own the original models with those expensive horn tweeters.

Hi Guys,

Is there any members here that owners of Klipsch Speakers. Please let us know what model do you have and the older the model you had, the better. We would like also to asked its history if possible and whats your comments on its performance.

In case your freinds has one also, we would welcome their feedback.

Not to turn anybody off but I am not impressed with Klipsch anymore unless they are Vintage. Klipsch doesnt make good speakers anymore like they used to do. I want Klipsch totally made in Hope, Arkansas not China. It seems like everybody now is aiming om mass producing and forgot to maintain their quality.

On that issue, Trey Cannon (Klipsch Audio Technologies Associate Engineer) posted this on the Klipsch Forum:

To give you an idea of our QC in China, Andre has be there for the better part of 3 months. Making sure things are working the way he wants on a new line he has comming out. We have a staff of 15 or so Engineers that are from China and spend their days at the vendors looking over their sholder. We test most of the incomming parts to the final vendor and 100 % of all finished goods are tested to our Eng. standards. We set up the rules for the test. We go over there to make sure these rules are understood and used. We spot check incomming products when they reach the US. In Eng. we test samples of each production run as they come through the lab. Over all, (ie all Klipsch products) have a less than 3% return rate. Of that 3%, 75 % are found to have no problem. Thus, over all, we have less than 1% of "bad" product ship to the end user. We sale $150,000,000 in product each year. We share as much or more info on how we do things with our end user than most anyother MFG. out there, no matter what they make. We step up and fix all problems as they arise. We look for vendors that care for their workers. Doing things like paying over time, time off, health care. After my trip to China, I call many of them my friend. What more could we do?

These days, moving to China is usually a matter of corporate survival.  As long as the parent company continues to maintain its own standards, then that's fine.

It probably also probably depends on whether a company has stringent measures with regards to quality control. Yung mga Klipsch Heresy, Klipschorn stuff nalang ata ang ginagawa sa US ngayon.

As far as I know, Chinese made Klipsch, Velodynes, Polk Audio are very cheap in the U.S. except for the Polk Audio LSi Series.  People who are new from these brands are impressed but not the Audiophiles. When Aragon amps by Mondial Design was in production, it was mostly sought after. Mondial Designs was recently bought by Klipsch and their Aragon amps are not selling well. Poor or no support on older Mondial producs like Acurus amps and preamps aqs well. It looked like the die-hard Klipsch owners stayed away from their newer products when they were made in China. What is mostly sought after speakers now are the one's made in the 80's and below. People are willing to spend their hard-earned money on vintage speakers now. All they upgrade if needed is the capacitors of the crossover network. I heard that these Chinese made speakers are now considered cheap and generic in the U.S.  I know it's a matter of corporate survival and cheap sweat shop labor outside U.S. but people in the U.S. are starting to realize that they are not that great anymore.  Maybe they are okay still, U.S. design and specs made by different hand but that is hard to sell on knowlegeable American consumers.  Not everthing that is new is better from the old.  It may be new but the materials and craftsmanship is not that great.  Maybe that old design is more advanced at all.  I stayed away from newer Klipschs and Polks except from the Polk LSi9 bookshelves that my brother sent me through "door-to-door" because this model and the LSi7 fits the Balikbayan Box.  Someday if I can afford, I will have him buy the floorstanding LSi25 and send me the internal parts only and I will just have to make the cabinets here.

Well, they flooded the market now with their affordable Chinese made speakers, but are these new owners really happy?  I can see a lot in eBay as a resell like a sign of unsatisfied owner because they are sold with bottom prices.  You can buy these new generics now dirt cheap but you will be disappointed when you listen to the older U.S made ones.
