Good firmware mods for the 500x.  Im trying it today.  Anybody tried this already?

So analog lang ang audio ko...content wise, may problems ba? coz of the HD content (dts, TrueHD, etc.)...or can the 500X downmix the audio? will it depend on the source also?

Movie Wall has been increase to 3X8 so 24 na makikita sa wall instead of the normal 12. you may also be able to change skins and themes. Tried it already. very nice.

Very useful yung improvement sa video wall na 24 max na sya, dati 12 lang.  Also you can change the skin of the med.

My Mede8er cant play the audio tracks from an mp4 movie file and m4a files.

Should I update my firmware? Im using 3.0.4 ver btw.

hi gurus pwede patulong. My problem is everytime I watch an mkv file pag dolby 5.1 gumagana lahat pero pag dts yung mkv walang surround.

my AVR is denon 1910 and NMT is mede8er. hdmi connection

guys,i might be able to get my hands on this nmt,can you tell me the cons and pros against other nmt brand such as wdtv live,e great,extreamer?it is not my purpose to diss other brand but i would just like to know what to expect if ever my deal with a pdvd member pushes through.thanks in advance for your input guys

go for it, i havent had any issues since day one and using the latest firmware. But im not sure if there is something better already since this has been with me for more than a year. I also cant compare as this is only my second nmt coming from wdtv...

Am also in the market of getting an NMT...and the Mede8er is my final choice. Looked at other brands also...considering budget, features and GUI...and the Mede8er fits every need I have. Go for it buddy!!!

It can output HD audio with the latest firmware. I have both internal and external hard drive. It's just much easier to transfer newly downloaded files to the external drive.

I bought mine from E-home last December and so far wala namang problema yung Mede8er 500x ko. Ang nagkaproblema ay yung internal hardrive. So they backed up all the files and replaced the hard drive. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, 2 years and warranty nila for the mede8er and the hard drive kaya maganda.

Yup, i tried Shizzls(author) first modification of the official V4 firmware, ok naman. I'm trying this again. I can always revert back to official F/W in case me problema.  So far the first, wala naman.

Direct na yan. Babasahin ng laptop as hard drive yung Mede8er.

My Mede8ter is already more than a year old and I want to buy an external USB hard-disk so I can load more movies.   

Anong brand ba ang recommended ninyo in terms of compatibility, stability, and performance (no dropouts)?  Minimum of 1 TB sana.  The bigger the better.
