HELP (Display Protect)

Guys,

Please help my HK amplifier is automatically shutting down upon turning on when we watch movies. Display shows PROTECT then after 3 seconds the amplifier shutdown. Need your advices.

most probably a shorted speaker wire somewhere. check all speaker connections. it may help to disconnect all speakers and connect one by one till you find the fault.
