sa mga barok o barubal na katulad ng grupo namin...

..."kami hanap ganda babae!" or "kami hanap gimik"..

....o sa mga rich kids na magaganda ang awtoh...

..."walang gasgasan,friendly toits"....

tried that "panyo" gimik once or twice, di effective coz ayaw sakay kolehiyalas dami kasi wedding gowns,ladies blouses for deliveries sa backseat...sideline ko sa as a driver & deliveryman during college for my nanay at her made to order garments business...

i hope i didnt offend anybody......

just bought this from a seller here in Singland...i've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this Pioneer A400x int amp but of course it pales in comparison with his big brother,the cult classic A400..

...i was impressed when i plugged it in...

and got this for free...Akai GXC740D tape deck....working condition just need to replace the rubber belts...buhay na buhay pa ang "heads"....

got this for free...a Yamaha YST-150 subwoofer...previous owner said that there was "crackling sound"..i removed the grill covers yun pala all the rubber edges sa woofers eh nag-disintegrate na...had it repaired here...now singing and rumbling na..

fully repaired..

Finally got around making "kalikot" to my vintage Pilot 602 stereo receiver...

first thing you'll notice is the accumulated grime and dust on the board and the missing tubes...

i'd painstakingly cleaned it by using Qtips, just to make sure i sprayed it first with a contact cleaner in order to soften up the dirts...i have to make sure also that i dont erase the labels of the tubes on the board...took me a long time on this part...

after the cleaning part....daming naubos na Qtips, my trusted cleaner..

i checked out also this area, i know its highly recommended to change the old capacitors and resistors kaya lang wala talagang oras..no burned out caps & resisitors naman kaya future project na lang..

cleaned out the terminals also...

the tubes, as recommended by doc sonny, i started first with cheaper tubes, Sovtek EL84 and Shuguang 12AX7 at $12 each also or about P396 respectively...there also some original Pilot tubes left on the receiver so i decided to leave them be for the meantime....wala nang budget...

see the lights and tubes are all working perfectly...

now i know the difference between a Single Ended Tubes(SET) and a Push Pull tube amps....if you want power to drive those hungry speakers, go for the Push Pull design and for the discerning audiophiles, go for the SET amps...lesser power but more musical clarity and definition....btw, my Pilot 602 is a Push pull amp at 15wpc...
