i read in the papers na sale is extended for another 2 weeks till last week of sep
went there but jm (sales) told me 1st week palang ng sale sold out (7 units) na ax200! :(

Up to now this projector, though old, still raves very good feedback/reviews...

But after more than two years since initial release, I wonder how this fares now with the newer models.

Is it still a good buy today?

Together with AVR's, the technology behind projectors moves very rapidly. Plus, the prices of projectors have been dropping quite fast. Unless you get the AX200 for a song (which I doubt), I'd buy a new model.
No room acoustic treatment is like running a Ferrari on ice.
