1st round (vs. Heat): Celtics in 5
2nd round (vs. Cavs): Celtics in 6, won game 6 @Cleveland
Conference Finals (vs. Magic): Celtics in 6, won game 6 @Orlando
Finals (vs. Lakers): Celtics in 6???!

Except for the 1st round, Celtics are really a great in closing out the series away from home like what happened against the Cavs and the Magic... One more game! Come on Celtics! beat LA in 6!

Boston won both game 6s on their home floor.  The format was 2-2-1-1-1.

Looking back since the start of the finals, I've noticed the Lakers' play has seriously deteriorated since game 1 culminating in the game 5 loss.

Actually medyo galit din yun ibang players kay Kobe.  The most vocal being Pau who said before that they should go inside first to establish post threat.  Then si Artest saying he has no choice but to become a spot up shooter because someone handles the ball too much.

The latest was Odom.  He was asked what the Lakers should do to improve their game....."We've got to get the ball moving as a team," Odom said. "We've got to get the ball moving. I can't just iso my man, take him off the dribble and shoot 25 shots. That's not how we got here. That's not how we play."

well actually I might agree on you here. If only the other Laker players performed their duty on the defensive end baka kayanin nilang manalo last game 5 with Kobe's great offensive game. Artest made a lot of boo boos at the end game, not only did he not shoot the free throws, di pa nya nahabol si Rondo and made an intentional foul instead of letting him run for a lay up.

Then again goin back to Kobe, after game interviews nya, naka salong baba sya... di ba ang yabang ng dating?! And di ba sign ng pagiging bastos yun!?

Ganito game plan ng Lakers bukas as drafted by Kobe himself:

Kobe will always dribble and shoot the ball.
The rest of the Lakers just show up at the defensive end. Tagabantay lang sila or taga rebound, basta si Kobe lang mag shoot.

ahaha i cant blame you guys coz you are celtics fans. of course you will only see the bad side of the opposing team specialy the star player. truth is kobe did everything for the lakers in game 5. He is the star he is expected to shoot more that the others and do one on one plays. The experts agree with me that the supporting cast were missing during game 5. On the other hand Celtics always have someone in their team to rescue them its either the bench having a good game or 2 of the big four. Celtics are deeper and hungrier. The Lakers will have to have a bigger heart in game 6. I dont expect any of the two teams to be to play like the lakers played in game 5. Both teams are in the finals both teams have the ability to bounce back and adjust.

  hehe, i guess it also boils down to the 2 great coaches, on how they will do their adjustment for game6 tomorrow. All players must step up and bring out their A games. The great thing with the NBA is that they still have these two great teams, the greatest rivals of all sports.

Yun ang kulang sa PBA... nawala na yung Toyota Crispa ;-).

Can't wait for game 6. I'm a Laker fan since kid. Ako and devastated if theyll lose tomorrow. Both earned the right and deserves to be in the finals.

Ako din LA fan when I was a kid but shifted to the Bulls and Wizards nung time ni MJ then Boston naman because of the Big 3.

I like how the Celtics is playing the game as a team on both ends of the floor.

Great start by the Lakers.   let's see if they can maintain it.

As if they need more motivation, beating the Celtics with Rasheed Wallace will also partly avenge their loss to the Pistons in 2004 where Wallace was a starter and the difference.
