diba si Allen 0-16? ::)

He was 0-18 from the 3pt line coming in to game 6 before making his first 3 pts again.

Feels like a Crispa Toyota knock out match.  Or a Ginebra Tanduay.  Or an Anejo - Purefoods knockout match.   ;D

Knockout game na.  In the past 6 games, forget about...

Lakers
-  Kobe being a ballhog
-  Artest being useless in offense
-  Gasol being soft again
-  Odom being invisible
-  Fisher being a flopper

Celtics
-  Ray Allen going 0-13
-  Pierce being ineffective before game 6
-  KG losing explosion
-  Rondo 4-17 from the stripe
-  Wallace being useless all season

Throw that all away.  It doesn't matter anymore in Game 7!

+1, it's all heart now...

...pero sana Lakers manalo hehe ;D

Like I said, I was not talking about the 3pt attempts.  It was Ray Allen's bad game 3.

Yes!  Depends on who shows up for both teams.  Boston was badly beaten in Game 1, but bounced back and won 3 out of 4 games.  LA lost two in a row and won Game 6 convincingly. Pretty even.

Will Boston play like they did in the Garden?  Will the Big 3 + Rondo show up?  Or will they succumb to homecourt disadvantage and injuries?

Will Lakers continue their hot roll in Game 6 and give Kobe a 5th ring?  Or will it be the Laguna Lakers of 2008 once again who will show up?

You can bet your daddy's gold watch that Kobe will play like a badass mojo on Friday!  No matter how he denies it, saying it's just another game ( he's a humble guy isn't he? ;) ), I can feel that he wants to cement his legacy as the best Laker ever.  Heck, he wants to be the best NBA player ever.  This season alone, he overtook Jerry West, Jabbar, Baylor and Magic and is now the All Time Scoring leader in the Lakers History.  He is also the all time leader in most number of playoff appearances.  And the scary thing is -- he's only 31 years old!  The 5th ring is special to the Black Mamba.  I am sure he'll pour it on on Friday -- at the expense of arch rival Boston.  Go bet on it.

As always, I see Boston bouncing back strong after a loss as ugly as Game 6.

Game 7 will be one helluva game!  It will be close from start to finish.. that's for sure.

Kobe will get his numbers for the Lakers.  But in a close game, I doubt if he can resist the temptation to abandon team game and try to overdo everything by himself especially when he's on a rhythm and the game is on the line.. and because of this, I think the Celtics will have a better chance because they play better as a team.  I also don't see the other Lakers duplicating their performance in Game 6.

For Boston, I have a feeling that all Big 3+1 will play HUGE in Game 7.

Both teams have shown that they can bounce back after a loss.

Hopefully, both teams would bring their "A" games come game 7.

5th ring for Kobe or 2nd championship in 3 seasons for the big 3? We might have a classic in the works here.

Watched the replay of Game 6 earlier..

Damn! Rondo missed a lot of open jumpers.. Kobe left him several times and challenged him to take the outside shots.  Seems Kobe intentionally positioned himself way below and played a one man zone to clog the passing lanes inside.

Rondo should be able to knock those shots (and I know he will next time ;D) if they're to win Game 7.

LA takes game 1
Boston wins game 2
LA gets game 3
Boston in  game 4
Boston again in game 5
BOSTON wins two straight after first four games were split
If we follow the trend, then after LA's game 6 win, they should back it up with another one in game 7.  ;D
D@mn it! Ang tagal ng bukas.  >:(

My trend is still OK...Game 1 Winner = World Champ (doesnt matter how many games) - basta Lakers vs Celtics ang finals....hehehe

It's official.  Perkins out with 2 torn ligaments - MCL and PCL.  Together with ACL, these are deep knee ligaments that require operation and a long rehab process.  Actually, common for athletes who do lots of lateral movements (basketball, badminton).  I, for one, suffered an ACL injury during an alumni basketball game. Very painful.  I was in crutches for almost two months.

Too bad for Boston.  One of their starting 5 is out.  Matinding adjustment dapat from Doc Rivers.  Well, at least, there's a reason when they lose.  Wala si Perkins eh.  Parang nung 2008, wala si Bynum eh.  Ha ha.  Might pave the way for a trilogy, when everybody is healthy.  Pero baka datans na sila KG nun :(

Kind of jumping the gun are we?  Hehehe!

Mas magandang Hollywood ending if Boston wins.  The underdog....now the limping underdog.  One who wasn't given a chance from the very start.  Out in the 1st round in 7.  Certainly out in the 2nd in 5.  Out again in the ECF in 6.  And after game 1 in the finals, a sweep or 5 at the most.  Doc alias Mr. Miyagi/Mr. Han only needs to guide the C's through his magic healing powers and with the Celtics players doing the crane/cobra move in the end.  Certainly makes for a Cinderella finish in Hollywood....NBA style!   ;D

It's the moment of truth.......moment of truth!
