Reviewer Nate Boss gave Saving Private Ryan a perfect 5-star for both PQ & AQ! Absolutely Must Own!
His comments on the sync issue:
"Now, one last thing. There have been reports from readers about the audio going "out of sync" from chapter 15 onward. Using my Playstation 3, I noticed lips did line up with spoken word, and, realistically, some shots show impact before their sound is heard. I could not register a complaint using my primary player. Utilizing my LG BH100, I found no sync issues in the reported problem areas. It appears that this is an issue affecting particular players. Since I cannot get the glitch to work on either of my players, I cannot dock this release based on the reports of others."

No, that can't be right. He tested it on a PS3 and an LG, and he concludes that it's "an issue affecting particular players".
But many PS3 users have reported different results, with some saying there's a sync delay, and some saying there's none. Therefore, the reasonable conclusion is that the sync delay is there, but it's so small that some people notice it, while others don't.
If Nate Boss tested it on 2 players and he can't see any sync delay, that doesn't necessarily mean that sync is OK. It may also mean that he can't detect any sync delay smaller than 75 ms., that's why he won't be able to detect it no matter what player he uses.
Nate Boss states in his review:
"
Using my Playstation 3, I noticed lips did line up with spoken word...".
Yet in his post on the review thread, Nate Boss (using his "project-blu" handle) admits that there is some lip sync glitch after all:
"
sky, i'll agree, there is a moment with Davies and his translation of the song that seems out of place, but as you stated, it is pretty obvious ADR, so that may be an inherent problem."
