Dati i got the resolution i was looking for sa system ko via musiland 03. Ngayon, i'm enjoying my system with the new musiland 01.
Sibilance was lessened so i am able to listen my 80s music collection at reference levels even without a preamp. Audiophile voices CDs never sounded this great. The 01 was more forgiving than the 03 pero not at the expense of resolution. I'm in the process of trying different genres to find out how the new 01 would sound. I was suppose to install my old tube preamp but i'm again, i'm still enjoying my preamp-less system. Baka pag may nagpuntang tubero kagaya ni Tim, ikabit ko.
It has a more balanced tonality for me with my horns. Images were slightly bigger but location is still accurate. Instruments are still where they are usually supposed to be, behind the performer/s. Drum tracks were still very lively. Impact is as pronounced as with the 03. Weight and extension is still the same, though may room mode ako na peak at 58hz.
