Already out of warranty, purchased December 23, 2009
But I reported it on the 2nd week of December, they didn't reply (SMS hotline), after unplugging the unit and plugging it back, all was good (I thought it was only caused by power fluctuations or something) ... or so I thought...
Called up LG, they want me to fax the receipt, and the approximate date I texted them regarding the problem, hopefully they consider it, I told them, that we only use the TV on Saturdays and Sundays, and that we don't use it much, since we have 2 lcd tvs at home, the kids only use this one (LG) for ps3 and some movies...
I told them also how their "techs" diagnosed the problem, without really diagnosing the TV... and after they checked it, it seemed to get worse...
But I think the LG girl really is being considerate... hopefully... Thanks for the tips guys... luckily I saved a jpeg file on my laptop (receipt) to show them, the receipt can be hardly read...
