sir kt! its at parksquare phasetron and spectra i think. pero sa sights baka meron din and sound dimension. di lang ako naka pasok sa upscale(nahiya po kasi ako.hehe). :)

Pareho tayo about Upscale, bosing.

ok ba itong subwoofer cable na ito? guys, i need your opinions...thanks.

Got it for P1,900. (3 meters) sa Sound Dimension at Park Square I.

I am using that too, its ok naman. I just overestimated the length and ordered a 5m but only needed 3m. I got the 5m cheaper than the 3m anyway.

Anybody used IXOS 1051 75ohm cable as your subwoofer? I've noticed that this is silver coated inner conductor and I'm thingking if this will be a good subwoofer cable added to this it has thick outer shield?

DYI Belden 8422 cable is quite good.

The Belden 8422 is available at 5th Avenue shops that you can find in (I think) any SM branch and Park Square 1. I forgot the price of the Belden cable, but it is surely very cheap. For the connectors I just used the ordinary Monster IC connectors. A couple of them costs 120 pesos only.

Try it.

can I use my subwoofer cable as my digital coax?

Anyone can answer this?  Interested din ako kasi I got a free Monster subwoofer cable and wanted to use as digital coax instead kasi ok ako sa current subwoofer cable ko.

You can use it as a digital coax.. even ordinary rca cable will do since it's digital. For diy subcables i suggests that microphone cables is better than rg6 or rg59, because those cables use to carry very high frequencies and tends to attenuate low frequencies to avoid distortions of signal while microphone cables is for audio frequencies which is 20 to 20khz. Buy cables with good shielding since sub frequencies is more prone to interference.

Oh sorry, I know I can use even ordinary RCA as digital COAX.  My real question is, if subwoofer cable performance ok if used as digital coax.

I always use optical cable thats why not familiar with this.

If you have it with you why not try it out.  There's no harm in trying, It's just an IC  ;)  Besides, unless I'm mistaken, the digital signal comprises only of 1s and 0s, not a band of frequencies.  ;)

Actually ginamit ko na,  and i know it works better than my optical. Pero how does it compare with a true digital coax.
