Picture Quality question (JDrama/KDrama)
« on: May 23, 2011 at 01:18 PM »
Just wondering why do most Korean dramas have a better (clearer/less pixelized) 720p videos compared to JDramas.. (well, usually, hard subs add to the damage, but sometimes, even raws are affected).

I have seen some 720p mp4 videos @ 800mb each, while some are at 1.x gb..
i remember getting beck live action, at 2+gb, but the quality is not really really good.

the reason i am posting is because i love jdrama, but i want really high quality videos without going to 1080p (with exaggerated file sizes)..
ex of good quality vid: dream high.
even if i am just watching from my panny heady-ready plasma (42X30) at 7ft, the quality is really good..

any details i need to consider before downloading  "720p" videos?
