Defective within a week: replacement or repair?

Hi peeps! Quick question lang, bumili kami ng 40inch Samsung tv during the holiday season at within 1 week eh sira na ung sensor ng tv for the remote, sabi ng tech ng Samsung ay irerepair nman nila at papalitan ung sensor.. Question ko lang, hayaan ko n lng ba na irepair nila ung tv o sabihin ko na full replacement ang gawin nila, 4 days pa lng kc nagagamit ung tv at defective na agad, nasanay kasi ako sa US na pwedeng full replacement within the first month of purchase pag defective..


So iparepair o maghabol ng replacement? Tnx!

demand a refund kung ayaw nila ng replacement.  ;D
ang tanong kasi kung binalik mo ba ang tv within the week?  or sinabi mo lang sa kanila pero di mo binalik within 7 days?

Pumunta lang ako sa store (abensons) nung nasira, kelangan daw muna talaga ma check nung technician from samsung kung may problema bago tignan kung ano ang next step, pumunta nman ung tech kanina at sabi naman ay aayusin ung sensor next week, service lang daw sila at hindi nag rereplace, so balak kong dumaan ulit ng store bukas para makipag-usap, di kasi nagreply sa text ko kanina..

So magandang idea ba na iwasan ko na repair lang ang gawin nila?

yes bro, hassle pero dalhin sana yung unit (dapat nagawa ito during the 7 day period).  para wala sila ma-say.  ako madalas ganun talaga di ko tinatanggal muna yung seals or plastic para madali ibalik kung may problema.  :)

Ok, maraming salamat, mukhang ok naman kausap ung mga tao sa store, gusto lang talaga nila na matignan muna ng technician ng samsung ung tv bago hanapan ng solusyon ang problema.. pero mas maganda nga talaga kung binalik agad ung tv. Makapunta nga sa store bukas   :-\

sir alam ko meron tyong 7 days replacement warranty so kung 4 days p lng after purchasing at nasira tpos nareport mo agad s kanila dapat for replacement yan.

dapat dinala mo na agad sa abenson para wala na silang madadahilan pag andun ka na nagkeclaim ng warranty...

ganyan ginawa ko sa Led pc monitor ko, nag bleed on 2nd day. so binalik ko agad sa gilmore.
pero nung dinala ko sa shop, di na lumabas ulit yun backlight bleeding pero pinalitan naman nila, dahil sabi ko, "nakitaan ko na ng defect, ayoko na niyan" pinalitan naman nila agad....
call me tito... tito pepe!

Tama! Kung sa SNS no questions asked. Replace agad.
Had the same situation before with a Toshiba LCD TV and they replaced it right away.

that's good news, now check the new tv naman.  make sure everythings OK bago hakot  ;D
