I ordered the TV a while ago and will be delivered to my home on Wednesday.  The package includes the TV, HDMI cable, mounting bracket with installation and delivery.

It will be my first time to own a flat screen and will be used mainly in watching sport games and movies and casual PS games.  Hindi ko na nahintay ang review ng PDVD kaya I decided to compare a lot of models myself and choose the one that will fit me.

First subjective impression ko compared sa high end LCD/LED with the same screen size:
1. Better picture quality with deeper blacks, sharp colors and natural skin tones using Blueray and DVD sources
2. Minimal motion blurr during fast schenes
3. Better reception and PQ with cable channels
4. Cheaper
5. Con:  Reflective panel (but I noticed that some high end LCD have reflective panels as well)
6. Con: Higher power consumption

Compared to Panasonic 46V20:
1. More reflective panel (PDP vs NEO-PDP) pero OK lang kasi madilim naman ang room ko eh
2. Softer blacks but still better than LCD/LED (2M:1 vs 5M:1 contrast ratio)
3. No LAN port
4. Less power consumption according to the manual
5. Half the price

Is this the equivalent of the local U20S series here?

I am a newbie with flat screens but after I read the threads from PDVD medyo dumami na kaalaman ko.  Hobby ko na talaga ang manood ng movies, sports and documentaries and play console games kaya alam ko na hinahanap ko.

how much did you get this for? Which store? the warranty is enticing! 

Sa Singapore ako based and it's approximately P42K sa Courts Megastore.  Normal dito ang 3 years warranty for all brands and I actually got it for 3 years and 3 months because I registered it online.
