yup yup, downside was 3 months warranty only for these players, for a 1 year warranty, it adds up to 4,300, about 5,100+ total cost if you avail of the 1yr.

i observed this 1073 is a lot faster than hdpro-s, hindi ko na kelangang tanggalin ang compression header (via mkvtoolnix) ng mga bagong mkv's, this 1073 handles them very well.

i agree. i love my 1073plus. ganda ng PQ when i watched Predators last night. only gripe though is isa lang yung USB slot of external HDDs. haven't bought an internal HDD yet i only use my external 1TB WD Elements.

^yup, this has BT as well (almost same GUI as HDPro, less the UPnP, FTP features).

also, i tested some BD Structures movies, this handles well and could play, compared to 1055 which couldn't.

HD Audio (DTS-MA, DolbyTrueHD) is also decoded thru this player, dmix to core if directly connected to panel thru HDMI.

DVDAudio is also played by 1073, i tested a Depeche Mode Discography and it's being detected.

YouTube video is also working in 1073, though the online radio is nowhere else to be found in the menu

OT: i have some DTS Audio music, may media players bang capable of playing them?

How is BD Structure actually played? Press the topmost folder lang or you have to go inside the folder BDMV/Streams? Lumalabas ba ang Menu?

yes sir, it plays only the topmost folder, 2 options will pop-up, "Play Movie" which will directly play the entire movie and "Open Folder" which let you browse the folders.

Somebody posted that there's a small reset at the back, you'll have to put a pin in much like the reset of routers.....you'll insert the pin then you'll see the upgrade GUI.....hopefully your friend's 1073 has this.

1055 is exactly what you need bro. only difference with the 1055plus is that the 1055 doesn't have internal HDD slot.

Kung NMT Brader Alvin, di pa ako nagkakaron, ang natry ko lang ay iyong Measy na DIVx HDD player nuon MT lang, puro research pa din ako hanggang ngayon, pero I think mag 1055plus ako, advantage kasi yung internal hdd slot para sa akin

eSATA is 1 drive per terminal, there are eSATA multipliers available but I think these work only on pc's.

AFAIK, most NMT's running on Realtek chips can detect ext filesystems, the questions is, which one (ext2, ext3, ext4, or all of the above)?

Come to think of it, has anyone tried using a drive running on the Reiser filesystem to work with NMT's?

has anyone tried to update the firmware of 1073plus? nakita ko kasi na manufacturing date nung akin is 12/17 and the date of the update is 12/26, i think.

Check 1st your FW number as that of the update, if it matches, you don't need to update.

Be careful with some of these firmware updates, specially the latest ones with the new SDK. Those upgrades that require 2 passes probably upgrade the bootcode first then upgrade to the newer firmware on the next pass. If it miss flashes on the bootcode upgrade, the NMT might not be recoverable using the emergency flash procedure. Be patient and wait for the unit to reboot by itself.

Guys can you check on what you have if it's H1073 plus or M1073plus. Magkaiba kasi sila. Sabi ni digitag if they had the H1073plus shipped it would cost 7K kaya M1073plus lang meron dito. I'm confused sa title ng thread and sa discussion dito.
