250 watts (110V) equals 250 watts (220V)



BUT 250 Watts plugged into stepdown transformer:

250 watts (110V) + XX watts (stepdown transformer) is greater than 250 watts (220V)

assuming XX watts is the core/copper loss.

Yup. This is also my take on 110v appliances with a tf. And where does that XX watts go? Into heat. Its like plugging an additional electric iron in low setting. ;D
