As I posted in another thread, the Toshiba 32RV700 has the best PQ (at least to my, and my son's eyes, even Vic of SnS agrees), side-by-side with the 32LD460 and the Samsung C550, the Toshiba has cleaner whites ("true white") vs. the beige-tinged whites of the competition, and deep blacks, but still showing the grays in between. It's the closest to plasma in terms of color reproduction, but with the brightness of LCD. In another criterion, resolution, the Toshiba has sharper definition of texture and edges, clean separation of images. And then in terms of motion handling, the Toshiba seems to handle better fast scenes - the Spiderman movie was playing at that time and the Toshiba had the least motion judder. So all in all, a better TV monitor package, albeit without the "bells and whistles" features that the LG and Samsung have, especially in movie playback via USB. But one can alwasy buy a media player (and Toshiba gives one free for 40" screen sizes and up). Another useful feature Toshiba has is the signal booster - although it seems to have been set in reverse as the picture is truly cleaner at "Off" - others will argue it is an overrated feature, but I find this very useful in areas with weak cable or TV signal, I installed a Toshiba AV700 in my mom's place and the picture was noticeably better.
