DC Universe All Star Superman (2011) -after being exposed to the radiation of the sun, thanks to one of Lex Luther's plots, the Man of Steel is slowly dying. He reveals his true identity to Lois Lane and exposes the inside of his ice fortress. Spending more time with her, he gives her the experience of his world by letting her drink a potion that would grant her superpowers for 24hours. A finale battle with Lex Luthor tops the story.

The movie centered more on Superman as a person. It had its drama which might be a drag for younger audiences. For mature audiences that loved Superman, this would qualify as one of the best comic book to movie adaptations.
