Yes you can as long as wala enclosure yung internal hdd mo

I have 3units of1TB (WD10EARS) and using one as internal HDD to my Kaiboer 530i. So, I think it won't have any issues with your 1055+

opo sir this can play srt files just make sure na ung filename ng movie parehas sa srt file for it to work

Tingin ko pinaka-compatible sa NMT kung UTF-8 ang encoding the SRT file. Some of you may have already experienced doing all the steps with regard to SRT file, yet still can't make it display through your media player, pero sa PC ay lumalabas.

So download and install the freeware called SubtitleEdit, then open the SRT file para makita nyo yung encoding. If it's in any other encoding (ANSI, etc.), just choose UTF-8 and re-save...then OKs na yan - very effective sa Mede8er (Realtek) and A200 (Sigma).

This is good information sir. I, too, have experienced not getting the SRT subtitle to appear sa NMT but okay naman sa PC. What I did was just to press the subtitle button from the remote to toggle and select UTF-8 at nag ok na yun subtitle.

may package ba sa digitag? yung may internal hard drive na and may movies? planning to buy one na kasi this weekend. if none pa saan kaya maganda kumuha ng internal hard drive na may free movies? this will be my first NMT or MT kaya medyo excited.

1tb nila na wd only 2950 lang , im not sure lang kung may free na.

Naka-setup yung H1055 plus sa LCD Monitor and Logitech X-540 speaker. I noticed that di controlled yung audio when playing movies with 5.1 audio even with matrix mode. Kailangan ko bang gamitan to ng AV Receiver? If yes, pa-recommend naman what AV Receiver should i get and where to buy? TIA

The Realtek 1283 / 1073 chipset range appeared in mid 2009 and is clocked at 400mhz. A flood of cheaper Realtek based Media Players arrived through 2009, shaking up the Media Player market. The 1073 and 1283 are the same chip with the same performance, but the 1283 has added capabilities of recording and DTV. The Realtek 1073DA is an early release that is unable to downmix DTS whilst the 1073DD is the most common version and can downmix DTS.

It was revealed in February 2010 that neither the 1073DA, 1073DD, or the 1283 can passthrough (bitstream) Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD MA. In response to this in early 2010 Realtek started shipping enhanced + versions of it's chips. The 1073DD+ and 1283+ can both passthrough DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD. Some players use a chip that is marked 1073C, 1073C+, or 1283C+. As far as we know these chips are exactly the same as the DD+.

The Realtek 1183 chipset is a cut-down version of the 1283 (10/100 LAN, 400Mhz, DVB-T). It passed DivX certification on 01-May-2009 (see here), indicating that the 1183 is of the same generation as the 1073/1283. See also the Realtek processor roadmap link below for further evidence that it is not 'next generation'.

Realtek RTD 1055, 1085, and 1185 chips are the successors to the 1073 series. All three chips run at 500Mhz so providing a small performance increase. Otherwise the chips offer the same comprehensive format support as the previous generation. The new chips run cooler than the old series, hopefully eliminating the need for cooling fans in some players. All chips run the same Realtek SDK4 Casablanca, offering a much better user experience (aesthetically, added media indexing, thumbnails..) even from the stock SDK.

The Realtek 1055 launched in late 2010 and is a non-network version with limited RAM (only 16MB flash and 128MB DDR).

The 1085 and 1185 are replacements for the 1073 and 1283 respectively. The 1185 will bulk ship in May, with the 1085 to follow in June. Both chipsets are network enabled and benefit from the addition of Gigabit networking. The 1085 has 512MB flash RAM, 256MB DDR and an integrated Flash enabled browser. The 1185 has all the features of the 1085 whilst also being DVB-T / PVR capable (so equivilant to the old 1283). Both chips have an internal PCI-Express expansion slot allowing for internal Wi-Fi and other internal add-ons.

Good news and bad newses...

Kaiboer H1055 Plus CAN pass through DD TrueHD (di ko pa na-test DTS-MA)! Pero it can't handle my 33Gb Star Trek MKV download. It stutters all the time, and my AVR flickers like crazy, switching between PCM and TrueHD when the movie stutters. Either I got a bad download, or the Kaiboer can't keep up.

Bought the Kaiboer kanina at Digitag, after my HTPC conked out yesterday! Bad trip. Di ko tuloy ma-test yung Star Trek sa HTPC pa. At dahil napilitan ako bumili nung Kaiboer nang wala sa plano, nakalimutan ko yung remote control code conflict with LG! So ngayon it's driving my PK550 crazy.

got this nmt last saturday from digitag...sobrang movie at series marathon ako
buong weekend. minsan naiiwan ko pa bukas nakakatulog ako di naman umiinit.

all i can say is sulit siya for the price. highly recommended.

set autoscan to on? Or do a scan manually. Kung di pa rin makita, have it replaced. Maikli lang warranty period nito.

sir kung internal hd bagong purchase b from store? kc pag ganun kelangang pang iformat and make it an active drive using a pc.

Ok ba ito with Panasonic 42X20? Concern ko baka may black bars, eh bago palang yung tv.
May option ba na full screen, yung walang black bars at all?
