Finally Acquired the h1055 from digitag. Out of stock daw yun plus so to nalang kinuha ko. So far so good.. Ask ko lang though.. When playing full hd movies worth 10gb+, mejo grainy ba talaga? I set the nmt to 1080p @60hz kasi yun ang max. My tv is devant mel150 120hz. Meron ba ako settings na di naconfigure? Well.. Grainy sha pag malapit pero pag malayo parang ok naman. Im happy with the nmt kasi it can decode most of my files. Minsan lang din parang delayed ang subtitles.

most probably yung grain na yun ay dahil sa film mismo. di ba yung mga film na cameras may grain din. so sa palagay ko normal lang.

I assume that the K3 and the 1055+ can read and play the same video and audio formats. Now if only the K3 had a built-in hdd tray, then it would be an easy choice.

yeah, agree with brainwashed, if kaiboer would just release a K3+ with the hdd tray. upgrade na din ako.

the 1055 uses the 1055 chipset

the k3 uses the newer Realtek 1185 chipset

2. can it pass thorugh dts hd audio as core dts? my receiver can't output hd audio kasi.

1.di po sya 3D player. (ang full 3D na nilabas ng kaiboer ay k630i at k620i)
pero na p-play nya ang 3D-mkv na files.di ko lang alam kung mapapalabas nya na 3d sa monitor.wala kasi ako 3D na TV e

TRUEHD,DTS,DTS-HD HR,DTS-HD MA
kung ang receiver mo ay di supported itong format.balewala din

Pwede ba mag-play ng FLV files ang H1055plus? Pa iba-iba kasi specs nakalagay. Minsan meron FLV, minsan wala. Has anyone tried playing this file? Thanks

kailangan either DTS HD o Dolby TrueHD rin ang format ng mkv movie mo via HDMI cable. or else magiging standard na DTS o DD lang ang magiging output ng receiver mo.

Pwede ko pa kaya ibalik yun 1055 ko sa DIGITAG. Last Saturday ko lang naman nabili then upgrade ako sa K3 nalang. Sana pumayag sila...

wala namang mawawala kung subukan.
kung di pumayag, pwede mo naman ibenta yung 1055 and then buy the k3.
pinakamaganda niyan, keep the 1055 and still buy the k3

M new dito sa thread. In fact, just registered today. Masaya dito and lots of discussions of diff brands/types of NMTs.

I would like to get Kaiboer H1055. I know it's not high-end but that's where my budget points at.
My friend has this unit for over a month already and he says he's quite satisfied with its performance. Real bang for the buck vis a vis its price 2.3k. I was about to order one for myself when the news came that his had been bricked after installation of what he says is the latest firmware upgrade downloaded from Futeko's support site. My friend laments the fact that Kaiboer itself has little or no after sales support. It also appears that Digitag's download site is off acc. to him.

He asked for help from Digitag and they too are surprised how come his unit was bricked after a successful upgrade. What I saw was the unit freezes after kaiboer's logo appears ... He claims he also tried to rollback its FW to an earlier date but no happy results. What Digitag told him after calling the store was for him to bring the unit to the store and they try to "unbrick" the unit or roll it back to its factory settings.

Before he does that, nagbaka sakali kami dito sa thread baka may makatulong sa kanya before he finally sets out to Digitag. We come from the Ilocos FYI and it could be quite expensive to make the trip just for this purpose alone. Sana kung may ibang purpose ok.

In the meantime, I will put on hold acquiring Kaiboer ---- WD HD Player has lots of support esp. software but it's a little more expensive than H1055. Any help for my friend would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

in the first place bakit niyo inaupgrade yung FW?

been using h1055 for quite some time and ok naman po. its doing whats its suppose to do. kakadeliver nga lang ng 2nd unit for my parents house.
