Bros I suggest you go to a Panasonic display booth in one of the malls.  Anson's in Ortigas Center has nice set on display.  Then have your choices display the same thing simultaneously, and choose.  This is what I did.

I have a 46u20 for a little over 3months now. I don't experience any floating blacks with it. Picture quality is great and gets better and better than the first time when I took it out of the box.  :)
