I had the same problem.
An hdmi cable that long will cost an arm and a leg...if you can even find one... (I needed about 10meters length) I think it was more than $500 when I was looking 3 years ago.
However, try monoprice.com ...they have the best deals on cables.
Might even need to use two or three cables.
My solution... I just used a cheap 3.7m hdmi cable (plus dvi-hdmi adapter)...and moved the source player closer to the LCD projector...and used a looong coax (about 7m...21ft) for audio to connect the source player to the receiver...I use this in my primary setup.
If you are using an LCD TV with the PC, I suggest using a looong VGA cable instead.
They're a lot cheaper (I got mine at monoprice.com)...and you won't really notice the difference between hdmi and vga...specially on small LCD TV's (40" and less) from the standard viewing distance. You can also connect 2-3 VGA cables until you get the desired length...not ideal...but it gets the job done... I use this in my 2nd setup (bedroom, HT PC connected to 40" LCD TV)
You could use the looong VGA cable also with your PC and an LCD projector...
I also got a 10-12 meter (can't remember the length) VGA cable from monoprice.com
BTW, if you are using an LCD TV...check the manual if it supports the DVI output from a PC...to the hdmi input of the LCD TV... mine says...it doesn't (Samsung).
jay need to get in touch with you asap tnx
