Topic: Which enclosure do you prefer?

Mga fellow pinoydvd's inquire ko lang po kung ano ang mas prefer nyo sa dalawang enclosure:

[Astone ISOGear 481U3 (USB 3.0)]
[Astone ISOGear 481E (eSATA/USB 2.0)]

My PC does not have a USB 3.0 port as well as an esata port, which will you prefer? kasi po I'm torn between the 2 enclosure po. My PC has SATA port in it. Thanks in Advance.

Sir jnazareta, kahit alin po jan pwede nyo magamit. yung 1st item, USB 3.0 naman po is pwede din sa 2.0 hindi nga lang nya mamaximize yung transfer rate ng data. then yung 2nd item naman, additional port lang yung esata. mi option ka between esata and usb.. so ok pa rin.. i think for the price mas mahal yung 1st item ng 200 ata (tipidpc)..

In both cases, madali lang ang upgrade dyan.

You can purchase a PCIe x1 USB3 card then voila!  USB 3 ka na (mga 1-1.5k yata itong USB3 card).

Or you can purchase a SATA-to-eSATA cable, and ipa-gapang mo na lang through the rear of your HTPC, and into a vacant SATA port on your mobo.  Eh di puwede ka na eSATA.  Below P100 lang dapat itong eSATA to SATA cable.

I prefer the eSATA route.  Mas mura kasi.  And current real-world tests still show eSATA with faster transfer speeds.

Thanks po sir  plapoy and paololorenzo..I'll get the 2nd one yung may esata.. I'll buy na lang po sa digitag nung esata to sata cable..thanks po ulit...
