Nyak ha ha ha... Kung meron ako bibilhin, siguro NAS ang kelangan ko para di ko na gamitin laptop as Media Server he he he

Pero matagal pa yun.. siguro next year... Last purchase ko na for this year yang Marantz.. Wala na moohlahh

Just playing around the capability of the player to play 44/48,88,96 and 192khz files via network streaming using Foobar2k UpNp server..

Marantz is connected two ways..

1. Marantz - Dac->Pre-amp(CD in)-> Amp ->Speakers - this is so i can see the bitrate that marantz is sending
2. Marantz -> Pre-amp (MP in)->Amp -> Speakers - This is where i listen.

At almost end of video you will see im switching between CD and MP inputs..

Will make a non-pro review soon..

Yessss.. as long as it's DLNA/UPNP capable.. pwedeng pwede yan... Actually wala ako nyan kaya laptop na lang gamit ko he he he... Mas maganda performance nyan if you ask me kasi walang ibang tumatakbong application and makakapag concentrate yung processing power sa Streaming capability..

Check mo din kung may apps yan for ipod/android para sya gagawin mong control point.. Kung may player ka naman like tha Marantz, yung remote mismo nun pwedeng control point.. Maganda nga lang ang APPS kasi kita mo mga thumbnails, lahat ng files, album and artist.. May interface kasi.. Kung wala kang IPOD/ANDROID mag dedepend ka sa maliit na display ng player..

Kagandahan lang ng Laptop ang server, makakapamili ka ng pwedeng mag implement ng UpNP server..

Like in my case.. i was testing Mezzmo, WMP, Jrivers and Foobar. As you can see sa pic, may tatlong server na naka display.. actually apat yan.. All instalkled sa laptop and All hosting same files.. Ibat iba din ang performance nila at features.. so makakapamili ka kung anong maganda at mabilis sa kanila.. The one i used sa video is Foobar2k UpNP server. Isa pa yung iba may bayad yung iba libre like foobar at yung builtnin ni Windows..

Pwede din Laptop bro, so kung may Laptop ka dyan, pwede mo din gamitin yan instead of player.. Kelangan mo nga lang bumili ng DAC he he he

Kung ayaw mo naman bumili ng DAC pero dapat may receiver ka na may HDMI in and may HDMI out naman ang laptop mo..

Kung ayaw mo naman nung nasa taas, bili ka ng RCA na may 3.5mm plug tapos connect mo naman sa RCA in ng receiver or amp..(Di nga lang maganda ang tunog ng approach na to)
