Hi Louie, I've been quiet coz my internet has been down for 5 days - thank you Globe grrr.I chose my words carefully just in case your wife was peeping over your shoulder Seriously I saw the av8801 selling for $3599 & the sr7008 for $1999 but E-Bay has 2 sellers for the av8801 at $2250 & 2 at $2638 all are free shipping but I presume that's within the US - Johny Air Cargo ?
I inquired before in JAC regarding shipping via air of AV receivers and if Im not mistaken the cost is around 15K to 18K...Still quite expensive. But Im still adding the AV8801 in my wishlist hopefully Dec of 2014

Hi Louie, a nice piece of kit for your wish list. The only problem is in a years time at the rate our hobby moves forward we may be looking at 15,17 or 19. ? The good thing is if that's the case the av8801 should be more affordable.
Haha! Thats right... Im pretty sure the AV8801 would be less than 100K after a year And my HT room is only good for 11.2
