Alamin mo kung ano ang pixel resolution na kaya ng LCD mo. Nasa manual yan. 1080p? 1080i? 720p? 720i? Etc.

Kung HD ready sya, likely that means 720p ang resolution nya (or 480p. You have to find out). A Full HD monitor is 1080p.

Pero kung hindi mo talaga alam, i-HDMI Auto mo na lang. Pero mas mabuti kung eksakto yung setting mo.

Mga masters, sa mga nakabili na din po netong cdrking bluray player, I've experienced screen corruptions and pixelated artifacts when playing mkv 1080p movies in my hdtv, tried switching resolution from 780i/p to full 1080i/p still screen corruption occurs. Does the encoding on the mkv causes this problem?

btw playing bluray titles in 1080p works flawlessly, just tried Cloudy with a chance of meatballs bdjava and it works great but the menu is kinda slightly lagging siguro dun sa intense java encoded features nya.

Another bug!

I turned on my player this morning and everything's fine. But once you start playing the movie (Bluray, DVD, avi from USB) the screen turns black and doesn't show any audio. You have to push stop then setup on the remote to make the settings screen reappear. Play again and the screen turns black once more.

Audio is fine, though.

What I did was turn off the player, unplug it from the socket, wait about five seconds, plug it back, wait for the boot screen to finish then turn it on. Everything came back to normal like nothing happened.

Only happened to me once, so far...

Aaargh! Happened to me too, about 2-3 days ago >:(

In my case, though, I didn't bother unplugging it, as I was already on my way out to work. I just popped in another title once I got back home later in the evening, crossed my fingers, muttered a silent prayer or two, and... voila, back to normal ;D
Going 3D, at last! (And I don't care it it's a fad.)

You may also press press and hold the power button until the CD-R King Boot screen reappears. Everything works fine after that.

Hello, guys

I'm new here.  I'm planning to buy a NAS (network attached storage) - still looking but eyeing on Western Digital My Book World Edition II.
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=290

Now since this player has an ethernet port (a.k.a LAN port), does this support video streaming  (e.g. AVI) via network?  Basically, all my videos will be stored in my NAS server.  Can someone test this?  THank you!

Yes, this is related.  Sorry I forgot to mention the I was referring to the CDRKing Bluray Player.  Can someone test this please?

For those who are still confused:  I just wanted to know if the player can stream movies (e.g. AVI file types..etc) over the network from a media server located on the local network.  It's more of a DLNA type of functionality.  I know that this device is not DLNA certified (according to CDrking website) but I'm asking if there are any workarounds.  Thanks in advance!

For a less than 4k BD player, I don't expect it able to perform the above function esp it's already mentioned the device is not DLNA certified. ;D

You'll probably need an app for that. Just stick in an 8gb USB and you're good to go.

App?  Like Optware?  I don't think this machine is running on Linux kernel or similar... Unless you're referring to something else.  Please enlighten me.   :)

The workaround that I was asking is that if this device can discover other devices in the network and can access folder shares (e.g. SMB, NFS..etc).  DLNA is too much for 4k but, again, I'm asking if there are any workarounds available to those who acquired this thing already.

I dunno, dude. I use Samsung's PC Share Manager to connect my PC to my TV so I can run my video file. the manual doesn't say that you can attach a NAS to the player or any similar functionality. Only that you can stick removable storage to it for playing of files and for the BD Live.

Just bought one an hour ago. The cdrking in sm san Lazaro didn't have a tv to test it on, kaya "test if mag power sya" ang only option. Anyway, nag power naman and nag open yung tray. Paguwi ko i played my ratatouille blu-ray, nag play naman. Unfortunately, ayaw magstop, the player won't respond to the remote, not even the buttons on the player work (except for the power button). Kainis, I'm going back tomorrow to have it replaced.

i think kaya naman niya so long as compatible 'yung system niya. i tried using my 750gb external drive ko dati, gumama naman. ang di niya mabasa ay 'yung 1-1.5 tb ko. di siguro compatible ng system.
Absolutely no regrets!

Sir friendly reminder. This player can read USB devices in FAT32 not NTFS. This means that you cannot play movies higher than 4GB. that is the limitation of fat32. you are limited with Blu-ray rip movies lang.. most of the HD movie with good audio quality has a higher capacity. you can get the HD video but not the audio most likely the audio available will be in AAC format..

If the file size is over 4GB but less than 8GB, your best bet is to burn it on to a dual-layer DVD.

FAT32 limits maximum file size to 4gb.

Gagana talaga ang 750gig external drive, FAT32 formatted.  Pero yung size per movie file should not exceed 4gig minus 1 byte para makopya papunta sa FAT32 external drive.

If the file is bigger than that size, hindi mo puwedeng kopyahin sa FAT32 external drive.

Has anyone tried watching using BD-R's or BD-RW's?  This is a test worth making, I think.
