quick question -

sa mga lineup ng 42 inchers na 1080p, ano po ang magandang bang for the buck?

first im thinking of LCD muna because of the budget constraints but then again baka may mura na LED, last is plasma because of power consumption.

FOR modest budgets, I suggest the VIVO LCD TV 47-inch size for P35,000. Full HD. The Native Contrast is only 5,000:1 but thats not too bad if you're just beginning. It has 2 HDMI. Taiwan-made with LCD panels and innards made or subcontracted from LG. Where else and what brand can you bring home a 47-incher for P35K? Think about it....

I think LG still has backlight bleeding issue which Panasonic does'nt have

Sights & SOund Shangrila (4th floor) sells brand new 42u20 for only 26,500 php na lang

that LG backlight bleeding issue has been blown out of proportion and old news already. there hasn't been any significant "new" first-hand negative feedback about LG units. im an ld460 owner and i can attest to the quality.

if you're talking about the pana U series plasma, of course that 42U20 will never have backlight bleeding simply because it's plasma; it has no backlighting.

sana lumabas na yung 42ST30 series 3Dplasma at wish ko lang ay di magkalayo ang price nito sa Samsung D490 at ganda kaya ng reviews nito.

takot na takot din ako nuon sa issue na yan with the ld460.to make the long story short,i eventually went ahead and bought it for my room.

never been happier.

Pana 42U20 LCD 1080p.. Bang for the buck... Great blacks, Great Colors and Excellent Picture quality....Wala pang backlight bleeding issue(I dont know about the others but mine dont have one or even signs)...At mura na sya ngayon compared to when i bought mine last year...

How does Panasonic stack up against Samsung & LG? Im a hard core gamer so im quite particular with graphics

Like the other people here in the thread, im looking for the biggest best bang for my buck. Meaning cheap and cheerful not the bells and whistles. My eyes are not like the pros so what might be bad for them is great for me

Panasonic 50" or Samsung 40" or LG 42"?

Since im a gamer, plasma is out of the question even though they are cheap and big

I'm not sure if Panasonic makes a 50" LCD. Imho, maayos yung current Panny LCD TVs, but they're slower in terms of response (like the current Toshibas) beside the current crop of price-comparable Samsungs and LGs.
