My audio speakers are 12meters away from the amplifier. I was informed that speaker wire won't do the trick and i should get ga14 THHN electrical wire. But I have to buy 4 strands, which will be inconveniently thick and aesthetically bad (because I will be shedding the door frame). So now, I need a suggestion on what speaker wire to get (and where). First is I would like to validate the premise, will speaker wire be good enough to deliver hifi audio to speakers 12meters away? If yes, what specs/brand/price and where to get it. Would appreciate your help! Thank you!
