Ayos!

Cleared everything except the speakers na lang sa harap, ang linis ng itsura. Abang ako ng 2.3m x .4m x .4m na custom rack (paging master timber, pede siguro wood and tempered glass ?) .

I(ok not me) mounted na finally ang EPSON 3010p, reinforced the ceiling so it will hold. HDMI and UPS protected outlet sa kisame. tested na rin ang Dual HDMI signals.

My birthday gift to myself --- hunting mode today ng mga 3D glasses ng hindi kami agawan ng 6 year old ko. Anyone knows where i can get Small 3D glasses?

Got a temporary PJ screen mounted pending arrival of my tensioned screen, will reuse this for the 2nd PJ setup so di naman sayang. I wish the enclosure was black but not a problem.



may reflection sa side door since ang liwanag ni EPSON 3010 even with ambient lights on since the room is small, so I go Color mode Cinema to tame it a bit.

You might see reflections sa sliding doors pero once closed yung room for AC, not a problem.

To do list:
paint base board black
spray outlet face plate and PJ screen enclosure black
review if need to color the gray side walls to black to arrest reflection

Takaw sa oras nito, pero nakakalibang. Kundi lang ako kinulit ng bunso ko eh happy na ko sa pader lang eh

yung 2 layer cabinet, wait mode pa ko need ko 2 meters na buo sana so mukang abang ako ke brader timber anong advise.

kung puede lang click lang ng click para mag paint like sa MSPAINT eh paint ko lahat ng black eh.

ngayon ko lang naharap itong room at nakakatoxic ang Q3/Q4 ko eh,
pero sa totoo lang, meron si brader ricky na 15m cable that (re)started it all hehehe.
Sayang yung nilatag ko ng HDMI cable from brader iiinas, mukang nadali sa paghatak nung karpentero at may sync issues.

Sa Ikea Hongkong yan matagal na, inis na inis misis ko kasi for the longest time its in my cabinet, ayan, pumutol na ako ng ilan. walang black ako makita eh.

The temporary PJ screen below is from pekspert, does the job pero white at 1.3 gain so ang liwanag talaga. wish the enclosure is not white pero hayaan mo na

yung upcoming tensioned screen, 16:9 gray, http://www.snowhitescreen.com/tab-tensioned-screen/611418.html, yoko bumili ng sobrang mahal na tensioned screen elsewhere. mukang ok naman.

btw, looking at your racks, meron bang 2 meters long na surface? pa PM naman pinakamahaba. if may wood (reddish)/glass/metal combo ka pa PM.

Dont mind the powercord dangling from the PJ, I  tested it with the UPS muna, but there's ceiling plug linked to a UPS sa front area. I also found a short power cord for PJ to ceiling.


From front to rear PJ, I wired the cable along the horizontal cornice above the sliding doors.
I also cut a 4" PVC cover (gray) so you hardly see it crawled sa corner
The tower thingee in front of the sofa isnt a speaker, its a tower fan  
you can tell that's where i sit huh ? the high arm rest lets me comfortably rest a laptop while working(ows, working?)

I wired the PJ screen power cable into a 1.5" x 1.5" square PVC moulding, its in the corner so you will not notice it. I also painted it same as the wall (originally its white, so I painted it black). Next time i need to run cable from front to the rear, there's room to spare.

the matic PJ screen(white) goes up and down fine.
After mounting, I realized when I saw there's clearance at the back  that to accommodate a plywood 3/16" so i'll put a gray colored screen with velvet trimming when i want deeper blacks. Saka na yun, wala pa naman si Avengers eh.

Wala si brader pekspert ng  grey color eh, that's what I really wanted, so lagyan ko sa likod ng backing for gray naman (3/16" thick x 96" wide).

Sobra reflection sa kisame at cornice, preno muna ako sa painting, para ma enjoy ko muna.

For you to maximize your PJ, you should remove any kind of reflection(Ceiling, wall and floors). Ang laki nang difference bro... Thats what i did with minell As long as may reflection nag susuffer ang contrast, di ganun kaganda ang blacks....

Pag pumasok ka sa sinehan.. wala kang makikita dun na may nag rereflect...

agree, problem ko flat yung ceiling, tempted nga ako i paint to flat black pero sagwa yata unless gawan ko ng casement to aesthetically seperate the area parang offset na faux ceiling 8" lower than the main then color that black.

Ako nga nag iisip ako nang adjustable Masking border sa screen, para sa mga content na may black bars ha ha ha...

I'll put a 3/16" backing na 16:9 with 2" velvet para frame para if nakataas si PJ white, eh meron akong gray. Mas ok talaga gray pag ganto kalakas ang PJ pala. i miss the Sigma blacks
