^ Sayang si Brandon Roy.  Portland can't get a break with its key players and their knees.

Other developments today:

  • Potential trade of Dwight Howard to NJN also in danger because of possible tampering charges; NJN going after Nene
  • Arenas, Hamilton waived; Hamilton a potential pick-up for CHI or BOS
  • Big Baby traded for Brandon Bass
  • LAL, NOH and HOU have renewed talks of saving the CP3 trade (good luck)
We deserve better.

as long as sa knicks sya mapunta,di ko titingan as kalokohan.pag sa lakers,e gaguhan talaga! ;D

This is probably what the other narrow-minded NBA owners were thinking when they strong-armed David Stern to void the trade.  Anybody but the Lakers...

In a second shocking move today, the NBA has ruled that three-point shots taken by the Los Angeles Lakers will only be worth two points.

Commissioner David Stern's office has cited "basketball reasons" for the change, though many sources around the league believe the move was made to restore competitive balance.

It is believed Stern's office is also considering a move that would force the Lakers to play in socks, without shoes on.

this is funny. ;D

the owner of the hornets are the other 29 owners, in the trade if went thru will take them back 15M for it to work so they veto.

they do know that they only have 5 players signed eh ganun din naman gagastos din naman sila to complete their roster. labo talaga.

oh and now dell has been given a go signal again to trade paul...  dejavu.

being armedtwisted by the owners will have a huge impact in the future lalo na if cp3 would be traded sa ibang teams

new deal daw will be done by tomorrow.

and dho (imho) will follow (nets are pursuing nene na)

I think this is good for the mavs since they already lost chandler.  And Odom is more versatile.

ok,so i guess ang main reason why stern nixed the cp3 trade to LA is he wanted to maximize the hornet's selling price to potential buyers.watta punk move, downright a**holic.he should've meddled in the deal for lbj if yun lang din ang rationale nya.

didn't he figure na the cavs and raptors' trade value would plummet as well given that their stars walked out on them?idiot talaga si stern. >:(

That being said, that still doesn't make Stern's/the owners actions right. The should have pre-emptively instructed Demps on what type of deal they wanted to make instead of vetoing the proposed deal when it's nearly finished and screwing everybody involved in the process.

Unless the Lakers get Dwight, it doesn't look good for them this season.

Ang reason daw kc mga owners nagprotests about the trade. Pero when owners were asked si dan gilbert at mark cuban lang ata nagprotest
