Arghh...Laker 27 turnovers....it seems malaki ang usage rate ni Kobe coz I think the Mike Brown offense cannot hide the offensive inefficiencies ng players like MWP and Fisher.

Sa triangle, at least players who cant create their shots, like Fisher, MWP, and ex Laker Vujacic got open looks, coz I think tri offense has better spacing.

Im still gonna hold heavy judgment though coz of the short training camp, and practically no practice days due to heavy schedule.  Experts have forecasted ugly basketball coz of this......and have benefiited teams who stood pat with their roster and coaches.  They are thriving, prime example of which are the Thunder and Bulls.

Shortened season is not benefitting older teams....the sked is brutal, Lakers  played a league high 10 games in 14 days.  Winless on the road.   Young Thunder played the same......but winning more than Lakers.

Good analysis... still, I have high hopes for the Lakers because I see them playing more defense now...which was lacking in their style before with Phil Jackson.

Once they get used to Brown's system, they will get better overall games.

The only issue is whether Bryant's body can hold up because of the grueling schedule.

Steve Nash recently explained why he won't request a trade from the Suns.

"One, it's not my style. Maybe I'm old school, but I feel like that's not my place to give up on my team," said Nash. "I signed a contract and made a commitment. And two, I don't feel it's like choosing a restaurant ... I owe it to the fans and the organization to fight."

Did the Phoenix Suns attempted to give a contract extension to Steve Nash?

In order to be fair, i think the SUNs should look for a trade that will give Nash a last chance to win a RING and on their side, bring in fresh blood and rebuild for the future.
Holding on to an old dog wont benefit the team anyway. Sometimes its better to let go the old and start young again .

Nash is a very good facilitator even for his age. he just gets overburdened when he is tasked to carry a team by scoring. Imagine him in a Laker uniform surrounded by options like Kobe on the wing, Barnes lurking on the three point line, Gasol on the elbow and Bynum on the post...he wouldnt even have to score to be effective. he will get a stat line that says 0 points, 16 assists, 1 steal.

biggest drawback for him would be on the defensive side. he wont stand a chance against burly PG's like Deron and Westbrook.

BTW...Lakers are in the hunt for the services of Nash. Maybe with the emergence of Bynum as a 20 - 10 guy their priorities shifted towards plugging in the gaping hole that they have in the back court rather than getting something redundant.  I'll rather have Gasol and Bynum than getting Howard. Howard is just too easy and predictable to defend.

Nash to the Lakers will be great. He can provide the Lakers some boost in the backcourt and orchestrate their plays better. Let's just hope Phoenix will give that blessing to Nash should trade talks for him start.

Yeah, the Lakers need a PG who can facilitate in a traditional offense.  Fisher wont do, and is actually a mediocre passer.  Blake at best is a good reliever.....whats bad about the stuation too is that Fisher's shot has left him and is really slow man defender.  He has done much in Lakers title run but I think he must slide down to being a bench guy at most or consider taking assistantcoaching duties.

Hoping they address the Bad PG situation....

Did Lebron disappear from the Warriors game?  Only 1pt in the 4th and the 1st 2 in OT.

I've seen a photo of Kobe's hand swelling after a game but I don't know how he still gets to use that hand of his.. He just dropped 48pts against the Suns today.. and he's averaged over 30pts in their last 4 games.. parang di na tao si Kobe..

magaling yung training staff nila in helping kobe... laban palagi eh. after the game eh laban pa rin sa treatment to make sure he gets to fight another day.

buti na lang walang gumagawa ng kinakatakutang "karate chop" sa nba. sa pba natin dati eh uso yung move na yan. =)

Lebron James is a physical specimen. Freak of nature. Unmatched mix of speed & skill. On the court he's automatic. No clutch

Kaya na olats Miami sa GSW si LBJ tumira ng crucial na 3 point shot, dalawang beses pa, 2 beses din sablay. Ayus lang! Maganda pa din naman record ng Heat.

Kobe again scored 40 pts vs Utah. Yesterday I watched live his 48 pts versus Phx.  To top it all, he made most of his points off an aging Grant Hill.  Di na naawa yun coach ng Suns naman at pinilit i defense kay Kobe si Hill.  Respeto na lang coach naman sa 2nd oldest player in the league today.  Sus, nagmukhang kawawa si Grant Hill kahapon. >:(

i got news for you! he disappeared in the OT vs. the Clippers as well! oh wait, what's new? lol.

yes he did tie the game for in the waning seconds of the 4Q to get the game into OT, but if you watch that replay, he travelled before he got fouled! oh, and did i already say he got 0 points in OT? lol.
