Yun nga e. Katuwaan na nga lang yang All Star game, and he still didn't have it in him to shoot the ball when they needed him to shoot it. He could've accelerated and overpowered Kobe for a drive and a tie and having 2 or 3 inches on Kobe, he could've pulled up for a winning 3-pointer. But no, he had to add this end game to his greatest no hits.

Last year's Finals vanishing act wasn't meaningful enough?

he could've but didn't.oh well. ;D

but it was a very entertaining game, imo.one of the best ASG's in recent memory. :)

Hindi rin ako fans ni Lebron, pero I'd wait until he screws up in a meaningful game before I heckle him(again). Katuwaan lang naman yang all-star.

Is there any grander and bigger stage than the NBA Finals where Lebron averaged 2PPG in fourth quarters?

I didn't say that last year's vanishing act wasn't meaningful. What I meant is that I'd wait to heckle him again in the next game that counts. I just find all this Lebron dissing on what is essentially a charity game a bit distasteful. Pero kanya-kanya namang trip yan. Not for me, though.

NBA All-Stars and more pitch in for charity

February 24, 2012|By Kate Santich, Orlando Sentinel

The Miami Heat's LeBron James unpacked new furniture at an Orlando homeless shelter. Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks helped refurbish homes in Tangelo Park. DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings built a playground. And the Magic's Dwight Howard pitched in for a cooking demonstration aimed at families shopping on a food-stamp budget.

It was a day of charity Friday for the NBA stars, and wherever they went, a crowd of awestruck admirers gathered.

"I cooked with Dwight Howard!" gushed Darnette Smith, 44, a resident of Orlando's Coalition for the Homeless for the past four months. "I told him to put more seasoning in the black-eyed peas! I was so excited!"

With the who's who of the NBA in town for the weekend's All-Star activities, it's not just the tourism industry that is benefitting. The league took the opportunity to organize four days of community-service projects, highlighted by Friday's NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service.

"Every time I have an opportunity to do [community-service work], I do it," James said between chores. "Putting smiles on children's faces… it doesn't get better than that.

he could've outpowered Kobe but Kobe's not the only one on that side. i think it's Durant who's backing up Kobe on defending LBJ. he saw Deron open and opted to pass. pero for me dapat kay Melo na lang nya pinasa open din naman and mas sure pa yung pasa.

+1

no bearing game, and yet he still choked. you're supposed to win the game, even if it's still an exhibition. people paid good money to watch them highlight the player's skills and as a team, not to see someone choke and be afraid to take the most important shot of the game.

if there's anything wrong with criticizing Lebron for not shooting the ball, then question Kobe and Carmelo (who was a teammate of Lebron in the just concluded ASG) why they questioned him a few seconds after that.

The truth is, everyone choked!

- LBJ should've shot it but passed it, while being heckled by Kobe. Choke!
- Kobe choked at the FT line, bricking a crucial FT. While being heckled by Pierce. Choke!
- DWade fumbled away an easy game winner. Choke!
- KD scored only 2 pts in the 4th and turned the ball over to Deron right under the basket. Choke!
- Deron airballed a 3 behind a well set-up double screen. Choke!

Sino pa ba. Hmmpf  Choke kayong lahat! Soli pera!

NBA All Choke Game 2012  :D

i don't think the Heat will get a center with the appropriate height. yung defense kasi nila designed without a conventional 5. kung kumuha pa sila ngayon ng legitimate height baka ma-disturb lang yung defensive flow nila.

Unless the Magic secure a guarantee on ink that Howard will re-sign with them, they'd be fools not to trade Dwight before the deadline. And other than Andrew Bynum, there is no legit deals out there that would come close to having at least fair value. Orlando's smoking something wonderful if they expect LA to give up both Bynum and Gasol.

With regards to dissing Lebron, well, you gotta milk the cow dry, baby! It's never gonna get old, believe me. A championship will lessen the insult, but he still has to come up big in that grand a stage in order to make people think twice.

Where would he be a good fit?

I think he is only good at competitive teams.  Put him on a lowly-ranked minnow and he wouldn't be of much impact.

Re Odom, I read that Mark Cuban has officially denied that they intend to buy him out. He's been missing games to attend to personal matters. Wonder how his reality show is doing...

As to players who are likely to be traded, looks like Stephen Jackson is a sure bet. Howard says he wants to play with Jackson. Also read last week that the Lakers have shifted their attention to Raymond Felton...

Speaking of the Lakers, rematch pala sila ng Miami on Monday. I'm sure Kobe and his fractured nose are looking forward to that one.

Yeah but the offense suffers. Lalo na pagnaSlowed down na sila ng kalaban in the Half Court set.

We may bash Lebron, but I believe, deep in my heart that it will only be a matter of time before he wins more championships than MJ (Bill Russell's 11 rings is untouchable) and beat Kobe in one or maybe two Finals showdown.
Provided, of course, that NBA games now last only til the 3rd quarter

nyahaha.. biglang nilaglag si Lebron.  :D :D

i read an article last week (can't remember where, i'll look for the link hehe), explaining the pros and cons of trading Lebron and Chris Bosh for D12 + fillers. according to the writer, D12 is the perfect compliment to Wade's game, inside/outside attack for the Heat.
