unless maka 6th place sila and face indiana, medyo ok match up nila noh?

mas maganda naman chance nila siguro(?) vs Indy.I haven't checkec their regular season records so I'm basing this on pure speculation.  :)

Whoa! Payback time for San Antonio as they are currently demolishing the LAkers at Staples.   :o

It's officially Melo's team now :) maganda din talaga nangyari yun Linsanity and wakeup call for Melo and the Knicks management. Let's go to the playoffs!

Speaking about inconsistencies, Nagkalat nanaman ang Lakers.

Great win by NY but they are headed into a collision course with the LeBroom led Heat in the 1st round of the playoffs so thats not a good sign even if Melo is playing well w/o Amare.

let's not forget the lockout shortened season of '99 bro. almost everyone else discounted the Knicks back then.sa spurs lang sila tumaob. :)

'Knight had 28 points and seven assists, and the Pistons routed the Cleveland Cavaliers 116-77 on Tuesday night in one of the NBA's most lopsided games of the season. Tayshaun Prince added 15 points for Detroit and Jonas Jerebko scored 14.

The Pistons led 61-38 at halftime and scored the first 16 points of the third quarter. Knight's dunk made it 100-50 after three.'

throw the regular season stats and records out the window, the playoffs is a whole different thing.

it doesn't matter if you're the no.1 seed, if you play like crap naman against the other playoff teams.

HCA is nothing if you don't know how to take care of it.

Golden State upset the Mavs in the 2007 Playoffs if i'm correct and the Mavs had the best record for the regular season.

ok we all have to admit BILOG ang BOLA so anything can happen and upsets do happen but malaking BATOK sa ulo yan for the HEAT and LeBroom should they not survive the 1st round against the Knicks.

kung last sa finals sila nasilat ng Dallas ang tindi na ng kantsawan ngaun pa kya sa 1st round in playoffs sila nasisilat?

Tough call nga ito. Grabe din kasi yun combo ni Wade and LBJ in terms of offensive punch and athleticism. But one thing that I've seen though since following the Knicks sans Linsanity is that Melo has really elevated his game and qualifies as a clutch player if you've seen the kind of shots he has been taking late in the game (the recent one is the two 3pt shots, one for sending to OT, one for the game winner).

IMHO, better than LBJ on that aspect but you are right, they may have more chance against the bulls. Miami is still on a redemption phase and you don't want to be on their railroad tracks! :)

NY-Miami in the first round looks interesting. I would like to see a James-Carmelo match up and I believe the presence of Tyson Chandler is more than adequate to stop Wade and James from driving towards the lane all the time. Amare and Bosh negate each other. Is Amare healthy now? I can see the Knicks possibly upsetting the Heat. But Chicago? I wouldn't bet on it.

Too much advantage for the Bulls. The Bulls are a better defensive team than the Heat.Luol Deng is a better man-to-man and perimeter defender than James IMHO. Noah plays like Chandler defensively while the other Chicago bigs like Boozer, Gibson and Asik will be too much length for the Knicks to handle. And Rip Hamilton looks like he's peaking just in time. Oh, and don't forget DRose. Like all speedy, athletic PGs, it's close to impossible to guard him, especially on a pick and roll.

yes NY-Miami is a great series but as a NY fan I don't like to face Miami :-) for bulls naman deng is nursing an injury and d.rose is just coming off an injury so good news for NY if they were to face Chicago

the top players should be close to 100% injury free para maganda ang laban. mas maganda if kumpleto ang mga lineups for the playoffs =)

Hopefully Orlando will keep on loosing and NY keeps on winning para swap sila ng pwesto.

i have to agree with the others that NY has a better chance of upsetting CHI. in their 4 meetings Chicago has won 3 out of 4 meetings loosing one game with only one point. their margin of winning against NY is only 4.75 points. on the other hand, Miami sweep their regular season meeting with NY with an average of 10.67 point margin.

I know that the playoffs is a whole different ballgame but you can't shove off the fact that Miami has NY's number.

sa West,

who do you guys think is the dark horse sa kanila? ako im betting on Memphis. mahirap kalaban yan sila and kaya nila maka upset ng mga top teams.
