memphis is playng good on both ends, but if they face again spurs even in the second round, no chance bka i sweep pa sila.. But i like 'em against thunders.. :)

i agree, memphis is the dark horse sa Western Conference. just like last year.

It was definitely fun watching Memphis in the playoffs last season. Dun lumabas talaga ang galing ni Z-Bo and good timing ngayon, lumakas lalo si Gasol while Mayo is finding his place in the rotation.

Right now, the best 1-2 punch I see is OKC's Durant and Westbrook. Kaya magandang itapat dyan is the Lebron-Wade combo :)

On the other side of the West, mukhang click na yun game ni Bynum and Gasol. Very timely din for the Lakers to get a PG with Sessions!

Bakit nga ba di ako nag subscribe sa NBA TV. Waaaah!

Should NY upsets MIA in the 1st round of the playoffs, then Coach Woodson may keep his job as head coach for next season and Coach SPO out of MIA?

I think it's goodbye Big 3.

if its GOODBYE BIG 3 then that only means MIA will self destruct.
actually i got a feeling RILEY will step into the picture once again should Coach Spo fails again on his 2nd attempt to bring a title to Miami this season.

sounds like aged, but as long as NBA plays 4 quarters and Lebron plays in Miami, i dont think Miami will raise a championship trophy,

im sure a lot of people will quote my post and will ridicule me after a couple of months if Miami gets the championship but its ok, kwentuhan at bigyan lang naman ng opinyon so be nice to me people pag nagkamali ako ha hehehehehehe.

right now heat and okc are the teams to beat. so kung maari mas maganda maiwasan sila ng maaga sa playoffs

kung pwede lang sabihin ng,say,New York sa Philly or whomever kung Miami nga makalaban nila sa 1st round:

'pare,ikaw muna!'

getting Bosh was a wrong move in the first place IMHO. kaya lang package deal si LBJ/Wade/Bosh. the cap space they used to get Bosh should have been used instead for more quality pieces or upgrade the Heat Bench.

NY-Miami in the first round looks interesting. I would like to see a James-Carmelo match up and I believe the presence of Tyson Chandler is more than adequate to stop Wade and James from driving towards the lane all the time. Amare and Bosh negate each other. Is Amare healthy now? I can see the Knicks possibly upsetting the Heat. But Chicago? I wouldn't bet on it.

Too much advantage for the Bulls. The Bulls are a better defensive team than the Heat.Luol Deng is a better man-to-man and perimeter defender than James IMHO. Noah plays like Chandler defensively while the other Chicago bigs like Boozer, Gibson and Asik will be too much length for the Knicks to handle. And Rip Hamilton looks like he's peaking just in time. Oh, and don't forget DRose. Like all speedy, athletic PGs, it's close to impossible to guard him, especially on a pick and roll.

if drose can't play,it's an entirely different story.id rather bulls muna sa 1st round.ooh ilang days na lang playoffs na.  ;D

4 games to go.. medyo clear na ang Eastern Con teams, Phillie getting the last spot.. sa West Coast open pa ang 8th spot, Utah, Phoenix, and Houston.. sino kaya? toss between Utah and Suns ..  :)

might be tough for the Suns considering their remaining games (Clippers, Nuggets, Jazz, Spurs).. those 4 teams are still looking for better seeding.. Houston has the lighter schedule (Hornets 2x, Warriors, Miami).. Utah has Orlando, Suns and Portland left.. Houston and Utah might have better chances.. but still, Phoenix has had a great run.. I'm actually surprised that they've got a clear chance of making the playoffs given the way they started the season..

id rather na utah makapasok sa 8th spot para mapalaban ng konti yung spurs sa 1st round. ang weak kasi ng lineup ng suns.

at least utah has a pretty decent lineup in big al, hayward, millsap, harris etc..

im hoping the lakers would not lose another game para di sila bumaba ng 4th spot, kaso alanganin sila sa next 2 games with spurs and okc.im hoping na makaiwas sila sa memphis sa 1st round.  ;D

Bulls vs Heat in a few hours, this will surely be played with playoff level intensity and could be a portent of a future series.

Thanks for the infos.
66 games? Then there still be lots of changes in the current standings.

how far the Celtics can go into the playoffs will depend on the aging KG and the injured Rey Allen.
its a gruelling 7 games playoffs in each round so health and stamina are the factors each team should consider.

exactly, if kg, pierce and rondo are ok, this team is still scary.. They can win i think with or without allen now, he's a liability on d side..

Everybody likes the Mia, lal, lac, okc, and nyc.... however, the sas are going under the radar...

They got swept last season sa 1st round, but knowing Greg Popovich and Tim Duncan - THEY ALWAYS DO WAY BETTER AFTER A LUCKLUSTER PERFORMANCE...

A big testament to this is after getting blown out on a game, they go on a winning spree... usually with blowout wins din..

The lakers were the latest victim of that.

SAS-CHI on the finals.

If rose is healthy, chi has a chance, if not, the spurs will run away with its 5th, and Duncan might retire.

i don't know about the Spurs. last year maganda rin pinakita nila sa regular season but they were swept in the first rounds. age really becomes a factor sa playoffs specially with an aged (not aging) big 3 of the Spurs.

i still think it's either OKC or the Lakers sa west and MIA or CHI naman for the east.

In other news, Miami wins! ;D

I think nobody remembers that Ginobili played with an injury last year in the playoffs. That made all the difference. I think it was an elbow injury.

Miami whether critics like them or not remains the team to beat with their BIG 3.
As we can see, no matter how bad they play, they are still in the TOP 4 in the league in terms of standings so its really hard to count them out becoz of the explosiveness of WADE and LBJ.

that is correct, that is why the sas have deepened the bench significantly this year.

11 sas players playing at least 19 mins a game. I have no Idea why the sas are tagged as "old", they have 3 rookies, and pretty much everybody else other than Ginobili, Duncan and Parker are young.

Also, I think last year was last year.

A new season is always a different thing. :)

Dallas was considered a gonner, they lost to an 8 seeded gs back then... They won a championship recently.

:)

MIAMI and CHICAGO are the deadly teams on the east...

The west, anybody within the top 6 could go all the way.

The big 2.5 (bosh only gets a .5) hehehe..

TRUE! LBJ and WADE are very explosive players indeed, very talented and athletic, with good basketball IQ too.

However, LBJ has yet to shake off his "choke" moments come crunch time.

Wade though, loves those moments :)

Miami is indeed a hard team to beat...
