I think World Peace would've fit in nicely during the times the NBA tolerated thugs. Him and Kobe, no doubt they wouldn't flinch. Remember Kobe staring down Matt Barnes without blinking when Barnes tried to do a school yard punking by pretending to throw the ball at his face. Didn't even flinch.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2226YiMP-Mo

MWP, he'll be right at home being let loose with no clear cut rules on flagrant fouls. No amount of intimidation would work on MWP and Kobe.

Bynum, though, the guy screams shook one. He seems like he acts tough, but he's more of a bully. I guess it's just lack of maturity on Bynum's part, but he'll be eaten up alive if he were magically transported to the 80s. I can see him and Blake Griffin crying in the locker rooms before each game. LOL

MWP and Kobe's had close calls. Kobe elbowed Artest on the throat during a playoff game against Houston.

Now both play with him on LA.  ;D

Spurs have won 18 (19 after today's game with Portland) of their last 20. One of the loss was due to the Big 3 not playing. I'd like to see Tony, Tim and Manu (all international players) get their 5th, at Miami's expense, of course.

Spurs open a can of whoop a*s winning by 35. Secure the West's best record and home court advantage...

the Spurs is what basketball is all about walang arte, walang yabang, seryosong pag lalaro lang parang wala nga yatang nag rereact sa mga player ng team na ito pag nakakashoot or nakakapag dunk, hard nose basketball lang, kung pwede lang botohan na lang championship sila boto ko

Drama on Popovich's watch will get you on the bench fast... hehehe... If you dont play team basketball, more so team defense, you wont last long in San Antonio.

Jefferson learned that rather early upon aquisition, however, nobody just wanted him (he was offered for a trade on numerous occasions, even placed on the amnesty clause list)... hahahaha... Im just glad the sas got Captain Jack back. Misfit on other teams as he may be, he is actually one of Popovich's favorite players because of his hard nose personality.  ;D

I beg to differ. There's enough acting on Manu's flops to warrant a movie.

Obviously, it's a different kind of drama that Pop frowns upon ...... but yeah, Manu flopping around will always be part of the Spurs great run.

Manu (moreso when still had hair) makes it look like he's being bloody murdered out there in the court.  ;D

TP isn't overrated, he's underrated. Nobody talks about the guy and he's been playing really well of late. Can't say the same for Rose, Westbrook and yeah, CP3.

i would like to agree here, parang yung nba PG eh rose, cp3 at westbrook lang but parker plays really good at least sa mga games na napapanood ko, i dont think the Spurs would go a long way kung di mahusay na PG si Parker,

Parker is a good pointguard, right there in the top 5.

However, I believe it's Duncan who is still the anchor of the team. Everything still revolves around him, plays are designed for him and a supporting cast was gathered to compliment his strenghts and weaknesses. Although his numbers are down, one look at how they start a play and you will get what I mean.

At the beginning of a half court play, they usually start off with a "traditional" 4 down play. Duncan gets it, more often than not commands a double team, they space the floor, and somebody gets a clean layup or a three.

Pop wants Duncan in the playoffs for a reason, that is why he gets extra resting time, the spurs need Duncan in the playoffs.

Parker and Ginobili of course, do their parts as well.

Parker though, is no MVP. The Award is usually given to the statistic monster. hehehehe...

And for that, there is no bigger and more athletic monster than LBJ.

LBJ will probably and deservingly win that award. :)

eto ba yun?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdPQ3QxDZ1s

it wasnt actually a shove.. parang anklebreaker lang naman with a soft tap.. na nagmukhang malakas lang considering nadulas/nagflop si russel..

compare "jordan rules" yung mga hard fouls kay mj, as compared to now...

magtataka ka how he was able to dominate then.
