do you think Blake Griffin deserves a max contract? i came across an article the other night (can't find the darn link, i should learn to bookmark links like that! LOL) and it stated that David Sterling (Clippers owner) would give CP3 and Blake Griffin max contracts.

Juwan Howard vs. Lance Stephenson

Quote
According to The Indianapolis Star, Howard told a couple of Pacers players to relay a message to Stephenson for him on Saturday. ''Tell him I’m going to [expletive] him up,'' Howard told Dahntay Jones and Paul George, according to the Star.

nah. he's too soft and he's only move is to dunk, dunk and dunk. well, maybe that's the reason why the owner plans to give him a max contract because he draws the crowd.

I agree, parang ngayun lang yata napuno ang staples ng clippers..

sa salary,  depende sa comparison with another player who receives max, probably same position din.. I don't know Kevin Love's or Tim Duncan's salary, pero kung sila ang max, di pa yata pwede si Blake sa ganun unless nakapasok ang clips sa playoffs ng wala si CP3.. probably ka level nya si Nowitzki or maybe better than Aldridge, Amare and Gasol.. but max? not yer siguro..

Very few players actually deserve max salaries. Pero dahil mataas ang market value ni Blake, the Clippers have no choice but to give him a max extension next year. or else they'll have to match a front-loaded max contract that will be inevitably offered by other teams once he hits free agency.

The Clips better think twice before offering Paul a max contract. The guy has a lot of mileage already plus a history on being injured. I'm pretty sure they will offer Blake a max contract since he is the face of the franchise plus he brings in the crowd to watch the games. He needs to work on having a go to move though this offseason otherwise he will be very easy to defend next year if he will bring the same skill set to the table once again.

for me,  I like CP3 to get maxmum salary than Blake.. Blake's style of game is more prone I guess, and without CP3 baka wala sila playoffs.. sana makuha ulit nila si Gordon this offseason..

based on how he plays? no. but based on his "star quality"? yes. he brings in the money for the clips, he can fill those seats. more fans = more money for the clips.

ilang taon lang ba si blake? 22 or 23? im not sure, he still has a lot of room to grow. bawasan na lang nya yung pagiging flopper nya. lol.

kahit saang anggulo tignan CP3 is a max  contract player. there is no denying that. without him di makakapasok ng playoffs ang clippers.

No big deal with Blake getting the max contract for as long as he keeps the crowd from filling up the arena.
Blake is their best performer with his high flying dunks and in fairness, the Clippers did made it to the top 4 in the west with the addition of CP3.
Given them more time to mature and perhaps a better a better coach can finally do some magic to the team.
Nagkataon lng they have to face the seasoned veterans of the multi titled Spurs who are really seriously on a roll this season.

Funny how Juwan Howard acts like what Stephenson did was anything new. He of the famous thrash-talking Michigan Fab Five who practically put swag on the court a staple is pissed coz a rookie is trying to psyche them out? Like what my Black friends would tell me "Niggah, please!"

That was a bad call by the referees on MWP. wasn't a fragrant foul and call the technicals was uncalled for.

Lebron now finds himself in Miami in the same situation just like the Cleveland days -- he has to do everything for the team to win.
