calling durant a choker the past few games is stretching it a bit IMO. he is showing a desire to dominate offensively, unfortunately for him his defensive game is causing him foul trouble which means he spends a lot of time on the bench. therefore lowering his production and throwing him out of his rhythm.

i think the label was put on lebron because he has demonstrated this choking throughout his career. even magic johnson commented on his game closing abilities.

remember that this is KD's first trip to the finals while this the third for lebron. so everyone is expecting lebron to perform better than durant.

if by next game si durant pa rin ang nagbabantay kay lebron. lebron should take advantage of kevin's defense because he seems to have a knack for getting called for silly fouls

if next game, Brooks would still use Durant to defend Lebron, the Thunder can kiss their title hopes bye bye.

i mean, why push your best offensive threat to guard the opposing team's best player?

Durant isn't exactly in the same level as MJ or Pippen defensively, just my honest opinion.

I still believe the champion, whoever it will be, will win the crown either on the 6th game or the 7th game...

IMHO, the Thunder should check Battier, Bosh and Wade rather than Le-Choke...Le-Choke will get his points no matter what...so better focus their defense on these three...Battier has been like a "Kukoc" or "Odom" during crucial moments of the game...Bosh can be checked by Perkins or Ibaka...let Sefaloshia guard D-Wade...Just let Le-Choke score his normal points...KD35 and Le-Choke can cancel each other out...it's the intangibles of Battier and Bosh which allowed them to win in Game 2 and 3...

just checked the box score of game 3 (since i didn't watch it earlier), Battier was 2-2 from 3.

sayang din yun! only if the Thunder checked him, that would have been the difference maker.

gonna watch the replay later (baka sa replay, Thunder ang winner ng game 3 hehehe)

for me parang si Pido Jarencio si Battier nung time nila Val David, Marlou Aquino, and Co. yung 2 threes ni Battier pamatay sunog sa Thunder. ;D

OKC actually shot better with a 42% FG (33-77) vs Miami's 36% FG (28-74).  Both only made 4 3-pointers.  OKC also had less turnovers with 11 vs. Miami's 12.

I guess they were just killed in the free throws where Miami had 31-35 for 88% vs OKC's woeful 62% or 15 of 24.  Effective yun puro salaksak nila Lebron James, Wade and Bosh.  OKC failed miserably to make the Big 3 make jumpers.  OKC could've won had they made all their free throws.

Miami Heat also outrebounded OKC, 45 to 38.  14 of those rebounds were LBJ's.

Again, Defense was the answer.  Indeed, a good defense is the best offense. There are no off nights in defense.  You cannot really outscore a highly defensive team like OKC. You just have to defend them well.

kaya coaches ALWAYS stress the importance of free throws.

15-24? if only the Thunder made at least 7 more, that would have been the game right there for them.

and why oh why did they let Lebron grab those 14 rebounds? :(

Mamaya sa replay, watch Lebron's 14th and final rebound of the game with 10 seconds to go.  Ang bagsik nun.  The exclamation point to another brilliant game. As if saying, "I'm the best of them all!"

I was curious on how would the Miami Heat play kung sila naman ang nalalamangan sa puntos at sila ang naghahabol sa OKC, and there I got my answer kanina, nahabol nila 'yung 10 points na lamang ng OKC.

I was surprised to see KD missed 2 FT attempts during the crucial moments of the game.

Hindi sana naagawan ng bola ni Sefolosha si DWade kung may nag screen lang para kay DWade, eh maarte pa naman mag dribble si DWade kaya dapat inalalayan ng mga team mates nya.  ;D

2 more wins for the Title. Let's Go Heat!

I agree with you sir. OKC should realize this sana.. they should learn from the Celtics sana...

This was what the celtics did to miami early in their ECF matchup and they'd been very effective until lebron exploded for 45pts and 15rebs and literally carried his team to win in game 6. As we all witnessed, the Cs tried to make adjustments in game 7 by double teaming LBJ kaso the wing shooters and most specially bosh killed them naman.. in hindsight, i think that was a mistake from coach rivers.. he should've stayed wth the original strategy and let LBJ get his points and focus on the other players.. the Cs overreacted kasi because of what LBJ did in game 7.. eh its just one of those nights lang naman na super swerte LBJ na kahit anong bitaw pasok e.. hindi naman araw-araw pasko e.. hehehe...

OKC had a 10 point lead but saw it dwindle away as kevin durant had to sit due to foul trouble and ibaka and fisher fouling 3 point shooters. sana umabot ng game 7 para do or die ulit. as a fan of the game gusto ko to. more basketball to be enjoyed. whoever wins at least we get a good show. kaya bangon OKC kaya pa yan!  ;)

if Lebron fails, he'll opt out of his contract in 2014 (sana!). that's one of the reasons why i want the Heat to fail. ;D

sorry, makulit ako pag dating sa topic na ito. hindi ako nawawalan ng pag asa that someday, Lebron would play for the bright lights of Madison Square Garden. just imagine, if the Brooklyn Nets get D12 to pair him with Deron, and Lebron with the Knicks + another superstar, matinding rivalry yan!

more $$$ for the NBA  :D

you can have him after he gives Miami their 4th championship trophy. by then he'll be on the decline and be a shell of his former self. ;D
