sana next year the Knicks will be better and offer some challenge to Miami and once again rekindle their late 90's rivalry.

Since we are in the topic of "Your Ultimate First Five", just wanted to share mine:

PG - Magic Johnson
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Reggie Miller
PF - James Worthy
C - Hakeen Olajuwon

Coach - Phil Jackson (Triangle Offense)
Team Owner/Manager - Red Auerbach

My choice/s may not be popular...but I do not only consider talent, I also consider the "heart" and most of all, work ethics - which James Worthy and Hakeem has...and I strongly feel that these 5 superstars will fir the triangle offense system of the Zen Master.

The best HEAT line-up is still the Hardaway-Majerle-Mason-PJBrown-Mourning line-up...WHY? They have the passion and the complement each other...Only Zo was a certified superstar then...

i remember, after the Larry Johnson - Alonzo Mourning boxing match in Madison Square Garden, Pat Riley was so pissed at Zo since it meant an automatic suspension.

can't really say that..

i think it all boiled down to the breaks of the game. Miami (IMHO) had the better roster and i actually considered the NY Knicks as the underdogs. most of the time sila ang lower seeded team against the Heat, right?

the late 90's Knicks really played well against Zo's Heat. ;D

It was the same for the era of the Lakers and the Kings (Kobe-Shaq-Fox-Harper-Grant vs. Williams, Webber, Divac, etc.)

Can't wait for tomorrow's game. Let's go heat!
If Durant can keep himself out of foul trouble early on, I think they have a good chance of winning tomorrow. What am I saying?! Dapat ma foul trouble tong si Durant 1st Q pa lang :) !

gusto ko rin naman Knicks nun nung time nila Ewing, Larry Johnson, Allan Houston, Sprewell, Camby, etc. yun lang nga mas gusto ko yung Heat nun. gusto ko yung rivalry ng Heat saka Knicks more than Knicks-Bulls.

ano na nangyari dito? retired na ba?

He was injured and then naglaho parang bula.. I used to like him a lot.  I liked him better than Iverson.

That slam dunk competition between Francis, TMac and Vince was one of the best slam dunk comp ever!!!

some info for tom..

1. Of the last 12 NBA Finals tied 1-1 after two games, the team winning Game 3 has gone on to capture the title 11 times. The only exception: Last year's championship, when Miami was up 2-1 against Dallas but lost the final three games.

2. The Thunder have connected on just 36 percent of their shots from 15 feet or further. They shot 45 percent from that range in the conference finals against San Antonio.

3. Heat F Shane Battier has 11 3-pointers through the first three games, tying Rashard Lewis for the most through three games in Finals history.
The Pats way...

Sabi ni Mamba, "three of my favorite players in the NBA are in OKC.."

So si KD, Westbrook & .... Fisher?  haha.  Remember, he had some thrash talking with Harden.

As for Westbrook, here's what Kobe has to say,

"I don't know what the media is doing out here, but everybody just needs to lay off of Russell. That's a bad little dude, man. That's a bad little dude, man. You guys are fortunate to have him....

...He's got the same type of dog that I had in me - that I still have in me - when I was coming up with Shaq. He's got the same fight and he's just 6-4."

ahhh Webber, tingin ko ito ang dapat na tinatawag na choker talaga, from his Michigan days to his NBA years, kaya laging na trade, when the game is on the line, Webber just vanishes everytime.

He didn't choke in banging Tyra Banks ;D ;D
