The rest of his teammates are inconsistent..

Blake Griffin needs to expand his game, hindi pwede yung dunk lang ng dunk every single game

i hope eastern teams get to be stronger para di na makarating sa finals miami hahahaha

As long as Bulls D is intact Noah-Gibson-deng-Rose, sila ang threat for Miami.. and sila lang yata talaga..  although malamang maraming mangyari this offseason.. dadami na ang teams na may big 3..  :D

I am watching the replay of Game 5.. God, Westbrook is a real crocodile! He's taking unwise shots pa ha?!

OKC has to decide on his fate. I don't think they can maximize Durant's potential with Westbrook taking away possessions from him. Jordan & Pippen never had this problem, so did Shaq & Kobe.

ang kailangan ng Chicago is a legitimate and consistent 2nd scoring option who can create his own shot, and IMHO Luol Deng doesn't fit that role. he's better off as the 3rd option and their primary wing defender (a necessity with head coach Tom Thibodeau).

OKC has to decide on his fate. I don't think they can maximize Durant's potential with Westbrook taking away possessions from him. Jordan & Pippen never had this problem, so did Shaq & Kobe.

mula umpisa hanggang huli binakaw nga ni westbrook. karamihan ay walang set offense at pilit yung mga tira. ayun 4-17 from the field yung loko. si harden ganun din mahilig magpumilit kaya laging natatawagan ng offensive foul buong serye.

and with the rumor of phil jax to hold the helm at OKC next year, i don't think fit si westbrook sa triangle offense. that a-hole needs to have the ball in his hands all the time in order to score. i doubt he'll be effective in a motion type offense. i thought the coaching staff should've learned from game four, westbrook may score 40+ points but the team still lost.

my heart still goes out to durant. he showed a lot of promise and offensive explosiveness all throughout the playoffs yet still maintaning a down to earth, quiet demeanor. he has a long career in front of him and surrounded with the right team mates, he could be a champ soon.

hmmm... westbrook for chris paul?  ;D

They could make a trade with Indiana. Send westbrook and perkins in exchange for 2 indy players. George/granger and david west could work.

Interesting if Phil Jackson ends up in OKC and he brings the triangle with him. That offense is not geared to have the ball on a traditional pointguard coz they need it moving, although Westbrook might appeal to Phil considering how he likes tall pointguards. And major adjustment for OKC if they go with the triangle offense coz they really are just a jump shooting team.

Not so good news for OKC fans.  Not only did Oklahoma inherit a jinxed team, the new CBA ruling is not on their side as well, making it difficult to keep its championship caliber core.

"The cruel irony for a small-market team like the Thunder is that no matter how much restraint and smarts GM Sam Presti has exerted in building a championship-caliber team through the draft, with minimal dalliances in free agency, it may prove difficult or even impossible to keep the core pieces of his roster together. James Harden and Serge Ibaka, two key players in Oklahoma City's trip to the Finals despite their poor play against Miami in the series, are eligible for extensions this summer. If long-term agreements can't be reached, they will become restricted free agents in 2013." source :  http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/19404604/given-new-rules-of-cba-thunder-may-find-keeping-core-difficult

So i don't think we will see an OKC ring in the near future, much like what happened to the Sacramento Kings.  Kawawa naman si Durant.

Yes, I remember last season katakut-takot na kantyaw inabot ng Miami Heat Fans dito sa thread, but we took it like a man. ;D

Boss dpogs, di naman masyado mismatched OKC, kala nila OKC will have a walk in the park pagkatapos talunin ang Mighty Spurs. Kala nila OKC will take Miami Heat to school, pero it's the other way around pala, Miami Heat took OKC to clinic.

Let's Go Heat! Ay tapos na pala for now. Next season na lang uli ako mag famous last words  ;D

You see Pacman, kahit sa Celtics ka kumampi at si Jessica Sanchez sa OKC naman, we still love you guys  ;D

New world champion Spoelstra credits Pacquiao in motivating his Heat team
Dennis 'D Source' Guillermo

There's a new Filipino world champion, and no, he didn't even have to throw a single punch to become one.

Moments after the Miami Heat became the 2011-12 NBA World Champions by dispatching the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Miami, Florida, Filipino-American Heat coach Erik Spoelstra credited being a fan of Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao in helping motivate his team all season long.
View slideshow: Heat celebrates winning their second NBA Finals trophy versus OKC

"Well everybody knows I'm a Manny Pacquiao fan," Spoelstra told Stuart Scott during the ESPN post-game interview, and added, "there's quite a few comparisons that our guys can relate to that sport (boxing). We got knocked down to the canvas two or three times this playoffs run, but we got up, and we kept on working."

Down, indeed they were, and work they sure kept doing.

The Heat lost their star forward Chris Bosh in game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Indiana Pacers, and found themselves in a 2-games-to-1 hole, while Spoelstra was caught on camera jawing with star guard Dwyane Wade in Game 3. The Heat picked up the pieces, to eventually close out the Pacers in 6 games.

In their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Boston Celtics, the Heat took all they could from the rough veteran club led by Rajon Rondo, Paul Piece, and Kevin Garnett, and needed all of 7 games to reach the NBA Finals. Incidentally, Pacquiao, a Celtics fan, took some criticism back in June 9 when he fought Timothy Bradley, for holding up the event and making everyone wait, as he finished watching game 7 of the Heat-Celtics match-up.

In the Finals, the Heat dropped game 1 of their series on the road in Oklahoma City, as Kevin Durant and crew thrashed them to the tune of 104-95. But just like real champions, led by Finals MVP and regular season MVP LeBron James, the Heat bounced back, and stamped their class in sweeping the next four games, culminating with their game 5, 121-106 victory over the Thunder, bidding their formidable rivals "O-K-C-U-next-year".

Maybe, just maybe, this will be my last post on this thread.  I'd like to share this good read about the Finals MVP Lebron.

LBJ - the most scrutinized and probably the most controversial NBA player in history.  If you still have not accepted his greatness in the game, well you probably should. It's about damn time...

http://hoopshype.com/columns/johnson/lebron-can-finally-say-shhhh

And IMO, Lebron hasn't reached yet his full potential as a player.  When that time comes, oh boy...

With that reasoning, we should strip Wade of his first as he wasn't the main man with Miami in 2006?

But was he really "the man" on Miami? Conventional thinking of this issue would point out it was Shaq and not Wade.
